ok what u need to do are make "playlists" in itunes.

fire up itunes, plug in your phone.

on the bottom left corner theres a + button. that adds playlists. click it once and name your list something like "Korean songs"

now you have a blue colored folder. thats your playlist.

goto your songs folder/library at the top left and select all the korean songs u want and drag and drop them in the new playlist folder you just made.

now click on your phone icon and hit the music tab.

make sure its set to sync playlists and check the ones you want, in this case "korean songs"

hit apply/sync

you're done.:haha:

NOTE: all playlists MUST have media in them or they wont sync over to your phone

oh one last thing IF YOU WNT TO MAKE A VIDEO PLAYLIST, you MUST have at least one Music.mp3 file in there or itunes wont sync over the playlist. one problem tho, you cant use shuffle on video playlists.

2.0.1 firmware is still so buggy. I have had my phone lock up restart took an hour to install a small app from appstore.

It happened to me once when I installed Simplify from the App Store. I didn't touch it and after 2-3 minutes it started working fine again.

2.0.1 isn't as fast as 1.1.4 but it's not that bad. I never used 2.0 so I can't comment on how much more improved it is.

You guys should download all those different language apps. The Lonely Planet Mandarin app is free right now and is pretty good because it comes with mandarin audio that says the phrase while spelling it out so it can come in handy when you travel or something.

*sigh*... because I renewed my fido city contract about 1 year ago, Fido won't let me get an iPhone through stores, I have to get it through customer service and the wait for both 8gig and 16gig is after September.... pretty discouraging....

I don't want to pay for something and wait for it, while there are plenty of iphones available in store and they won't let me pick one up from the store

i had my phone on all night with wifi on, its still 3/4 full mind u, i wasnt using it all night.

normal useage, meaning just the phone, i get about 3 days i guess. if i watch vids, 1 day and its done.

Threezero, you mean the rear only? its pretty easy if you use some water and a drop of soap. clean your phone of all oils first AND TURN IT OFF.

peel the backing off the skin and dip it in the water/soap solution, then shake off excess water.

REMEMBER WHICH SIDE IS UP

place skin on phone and slide it aound on your phone, paying carefull attention to placement, buttons etc.

when you're sure, start squeezing out the excess water and pressing down on the skin

keep a tissue handy to soak up ANY water that squeezes out. leave the edges for the end.

fold the edges down gently making sure everything is still lined up. if not, NOW is the time to peel it off and try again.

is its all good, wait a few min till the edges are dry-ish then fold em down and stick em good. they wont stay down if they are too wet.

If you screw up on the InvisibleShield, could you take it off and reapply after hours?

CH28, are you still experiencing this problem? seems like i have the exact same issue with mine now. says it's syncing then it jumps to backing up my phone. i let it run for several minutes and nothing. Anyone have any clue how to fix that? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm just not the type for doing protective films. on all my old cellphone if i put the film on it myself there will ALWAYS be misalign, bubble or fingerprint and it would annoy me everytime i look at it.

I called into fido like two weeks ago, and had them lock up my data plan because edge kept kicking in, and I don't have a data plan. Fido was able to lock it up, but since yesterday when I restarted the phone, the E logo appears beside "Fido" on the top portion of the screen. I've tried some apps and stuff and its using data again. Does anyone know what's going on here, it seems like my data plan has been unlocked somehow because I restarted my phone. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I don't have a data plan and got my data locked. The E is always beside the carrier (im on Fido but I ALWAYS 99% of the time get Rogers there). I think it's just there, but you wont get charged. Turn off your wifi and 3g and see if you can log on to the internet. If you can't, you aren't getting charged for anything.

Is there any way to upload files from my computer to the iphone? Isn't this a smart phone? How can I add notepad texts files and such.

Get Cydia and download the "BossPrefs" program. Open up BossPrefs and manually disable Edge and the icon will go away.

Don't think so. I have my 3g, Edge, Wifi, and Bluetooth all turned off and I still get the E beside the ROGERS on the top.

I think I read somewhere that having the E at the top left corner means that you're in range of an Edge network. And it doesn't necessarily mean you're using it. You can also check your Data usage, in Settings->General->Usage, should be 0 if you got data locked, mine is ;)

Really? I have data usage, both upload AND download. I called a Fido rep and asked if my data is blocked and they told me yes since March 12th and that I currently have no charges for any data on my bill. I assumed this data usage was from Wifi.
If they charge me, ill bitch hard.

I used best skin ever brand skin. The rear is 2pieces. It isn't completely smooth tho. Kind of orange peel texture, but really clear. If you don't fix alignment issues right away your screwed. If you attempt to remove it, it will strech permanently.

Hmmm, weird, I used wi-fi a lot and it still showed that my data usage is 0.

I read on Howard forums from a Fido CSR that if you call in to block your data, to ask if the CSR used the APN177 data block, because a lot of them don't know how to block data properly. Also, a lot of the apps on iPhone updates itself when you open it (gps, weather, etc) so if you have a data block it should give you an error.

Looks like your data is blocked. Same thing happens for me when I open those programs when I don't have wifi on :)
