How bout that schneider kid? he looked good- but gave up quite a few rebounds..
and when KROG scored.. i was like WTF just happend?
Guy made it look so easy, and he went to the bench with a straight face,
no grin or smile or anything... C'mon now, even Ovi celebrates when he scores.

I don't think anybody was but I could be wrong.
Anyways 2nite we get to see our other squad which consists of players such as Roberto Luongo, Henrik Sedin, Sami Salo, and Kevin Bieksa, Pavol Demitra, Darcy Hordichuk, Steve Bernier, and Ryan Johnson, Cody Hodgson, and Michael Grabner.
This should be a good game to watch.

Krog's shootout goal show's how talented of a scorer he is, that or the scouts did their jobs learning how to beat Giron.
Basically, Krog skated in with his head up and the puck by his side so he could shoot or go backhand. Quick dip of the shoulders and Giron dropped his glove 3 inches, and Krog went top shelf cross bar and in.

^^^ Krog's SO goal was a great goal indeed but I disagree with all these Krog hype. What I find most annoying about Canuck fans is that a person could have 1 good game or make that 1 good goal and suddenly they're treated as the 2nd coming of Christ. I remember players like Jason King and even Cowan with his 5 goal stint and people started treating them as if they're our solution to our offensive woes. All is good with fans until reality sets in.
Good goal indeed but I don't know why you guys get so excited easily.

^ That's true but he had 113points or something with the AHL so he has some talent in him if given the chance. Do you think Cowan or King would have had that much points even in the ahl? I don't want say he is the saviour but they should definitely give him the chance and let the younger guys develop.
I also hope that Wellwood gets his act together as I can see him being a good fit for the team. (and no, i'm not saying this because of his shootout goal)

I am very interested in seeing how Hodgson and Grabner does in tonight's game! I missed both rookies games. It seems Mason Raymond yesterday tried strut his stuff yesterday, unfortunately there wasn't much support. Can't wait to see what he does with better line mates.
I'm assuming our 'A' squad will be taking on the Oiler's 'B' squad?

I noticed that there was no assistant captains and captains in yesterdays game. but who ever was doing the commentary/play-by-play on canucks tv last night said Mitchell was going to get it..
not sure how accurate his sources are tho..

^ imo it will be mitchell..
haha im leaning towards mitchell even more after last nights game, did anyone see the movie after the first showing Willie delivering season tickets to a fan?
the way it was all setup and how willie was presenting himself reminded me of crosby on TV giving away tickets

^Yes he was. So far so good.
Mitchell will be the next captain. I can feel it.
I like how we had the B team out and still beat Edmonton. Who didn't they dress? I'm too lazy to check.
Hopefully we get the same result tonight. Edmonton made considerable changes for the better IMO and we still managed to squeeze out a win despite the fact they seemed to have their A team out there.

The news also interviewed him and he said it's easier to score all those points when he plays 20 minutes a game on the top line in the AHL but it is considerably harder too do that while playing 8 minutes a game on the checking line.
He's played over 100 games in the NHL, so I don't know how much of a diamond in the rough he could be, but I do like the 17 for 27 stat and scorer's thinking in the SO.
