I could see Burrows making around $1.3 - $1.5. $2 million would be nice but I think that'll be pushing it.

at least players like Burrows actually would "earn" the 2 mill, regardless of market value

i dont remember if i posted this, but i do remember saying that im fine with wellwood being a couch potato with a beer gut. as long as he scores goals consistantly. Quote:

When Gretzkey was young, his dad would make him draw on a piece of paper with a pen where the puck was on the ice when they were watching hockey on TV. But then again, none of his brothers did too much in the NHL.

yeah, I find those pace stuff pointless. Can't really make judgement on a player until at least over one season. Probably over several seasons to see consistency. But for example Wellwood is on fire right now. I highly doubt he will keep it up though. I mean he's on pace to surpass the Sedins. I doubt Burrows is gonna hit 50-60. He's already begin to slow down a bit. But maybe 40pts if he has a really good season.

It was a garbage goal and you & I both know that good things happen when you go to the net.

Its almost a pointless remark so why base assessments on it | My point was that I think Burrows can get more than 2M on the open market. Add to the fact if he does get 50pts + it'll be even more of a case.
Hey go tell TSN and other sport writers its pointless lol. But if you don't consider it you're basically saying you don't think he can keep his point production up. Which may be the case, but for me right now 5 on 5 I think the Kesler/Burrows line is basically our #1 right now.

Good things also happen when the puck is thrown at the net, but apparently, Canucks' PP doesn't know that.

Anyone else see Hemsky and Souray's goal? Nice one handed deke, and a fast, clean backhand.
