You must've felt big typing that out. I guess you're one of those sportless fans that live out their athletic inadequacies by associating the Canucks success as their own.

No, not really.

Quote:

Play a competitive sport. If you knew anything, despite the favourable position Canucks find themselves in, the Blues aren't going down without a good fight. Trust me when I say, you're "DONE" sentiments are not shared by any of the Canucks roster you try to vicariously associate yourself to and that this series is far from cruising to an end. Expect the Blues to come out a notch higher than the last 3 games and the Canucks having to do the same.

Oh wait, you're not an athlete. You wouldn't know what I meant.
Let's calm that e-peen down.

What I said:

Blues don't have the D to have any hope of coming back. They've yet to show they can hold onto a lead. In a situation like this, the tactic is to not beat yourself and make them beat you 4 games straight. And the Blues are a young team to boot. Four in a row of perfect hockey? No, they are done. Period.

And you disagree. So?

If you're nervous now, it's only gonna get worse next round against a better opponent. Easy to put me on ignore if you don't like it. Or you can sign up for a hockey pool next yr if you really wanna kick my ass

I'm actually cheering for the flames ONLY because i LIVE fo canucks/flames game. I'm not kidding. Days we play the Flames feel like a weekend for me. I get so hyped.

Trust me I hate the flames the most which is more reason why I wanna play them in round 2. I hate them as much as the two teams hate eachother, hence for the epicness the series will bring.

I think they are all really laughing at Crombeen because he got knocked over by Raymond, probably one of the weakest & smallest players :haha:

Avery up to his old antics again, giving Varlamov a shot in the mask. Best part is Avery is trash talking someone who knows maybe 10 words of english

What do you guys think of giving the top 2 teams in the east/west an automatic pass into the 2nd round?

Edit: Looks like the Habs are done.

That means we would just watch the Sharks lose in the 2nd round instead of the 1st lol!

I don't see how Lucic gets suspended for a cross-check to the face and Avery pulls this shit (and the Tim Thomas shit, stick to the back of the head) and gets away scott-free.

I laughed when I heard that... mostly because I rarely ever see Iginla without his mouth moving when they play the Canucks... so it's not like he isn't dishing it out every shift himself.

Is that the best you can do? Hahahaha. No wonder you'll never ever see it from an athlete's perspective.

You seriously are an idiot if you were to think that this series was a walk in the park, nor we won each game by a long shot. Yes we have the favour in Game 4, yes in all probility the series is ours. But lest you forget, the team still has that final mile, and anyone who's ever played competitive sports knows that if not approached with respect, can at times be the hardest walk.

Maybe if you're an athlete you'd know that the biggest risk with success is that of overconfidence leading to complacency in which the team is currently being cautious with. Do you think the team shares your perspectives that this series is as good as done? Seriously, get over yourself. Your perceptions of the series are that only of a homer fan at best. Stick to your NHL 09's and your hockey pools to live out your physical athletic defficiencies.

4-1 canucks

silk 04-21-2009 01:00 PM

Remember when the Canucks where up 3-1 against the wild and Bertuzzi told some wild fans not to purchase any tickets for the rest of the games because the Canucks would take it next game.

I hope the Canucks don't go into this game with that kind of overconfidence. Players are always saying the fourth game is the hardest to win.

GO CANUCKS GO!

Harvey Specter 04-21-2009 01:22 PM

Yup, 4th games are always tough and it's not over until it's over so don't count your chickens before they hatch. And it's really beyond me how anyone who's watched the Canucks and Blues play this season would have imagined this series was going to be a walk in the park because imo it wasn't.

quasi 04-21-2009 01:26 PM

Tight games but the Canuck's have seemed to be just slightly better the whole way. It's a lot closer 3-0 without a doubt, could be 2-1 or 1-2 the other way but as is I think the Nucks have earned what they've got so far. I think they'll win tonight but if they don't it's far from panic.

As far as the Blues coming back? Pigs will fly before Luongo loses 4 games in a row in the playoffs.
