FML

cdizzle_996 04-20-2009 08:03 AM

I was reading that its cheaper to fly to St. Louis, buy tickets, and fly home. Rather than get tickets here.

DONE.

:lol

You must've felt big typing that out. I guess you're one of those sportless fans that live out their athletic inadequacies by associating the Canucks success as their own.

Play a competitive sport. If you knew anything, despite the favourable position Canucks find themselves in, the Blues aren't going down without a good fight. Trust me when I say, you're "DONE" sentiments are not shared by any of the Canucks roster you try to vicariously associate yourself to and that this series is far from cruising to an end. Expect the Blues to come out a notch higher than the last 3 games and the Canucks having to do the same.

Oh wait, you're not an athlete. You wouldn't know what I meant.

Leaving today, returning Wed., best prices I found on Expedia were just under $1000.

So yeah... definitely cheaper than buying a ticket for the game here.

I think what the other dood meant was in ALL of professional sports that do 7 game series, I think only 3-4 teams have come back from a 3-0 deficeit. That's not to say it won't goto 7 games or whatever. But all this talk is kinda scary, let's not jinx these guys lol!

I knew that and I think so too. But all I was just saying was that it's not like the Blues are just going to roll over and die and that the Canucks can just go on Cruise Control Mode.

What's nuts is the Hawks game attendance was at 104% and they hold well over 23,000 people.

punkwax 04-20-2009 01:08 PM

The only time I remember the fans in Van booing the American amthem was because it happened to us first. Can't remember what series that was...

2001 against Colorado? I remember we were booing the American anthem and Trent Klatt was still on the team but the booing died down after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Yup. Joe Sakic also criticized canuck fans. He mentioned that even when the game went back to Denver, the Denver fans never booed the Canadian Anthem.
