that was a close series with 2 of the NHL's hottest teams... glad that we won but we did have a bit more of the puck luck on our side throughout all 4 games. maybe LB is looking over the team as the 7th man.

moving on to the 2nd round - hopefully the guys will get some rest and heal up for another tough seriest against whoever's coming up.

Just saw on CBC - Burrows goal celebration is a tribute to Luc Bourdan - he use to do the bow and arrow in Quebec junior..I saw Burrows do it before and also in the home opener vs Calgary when they did the Luc tribute...

4 Game SWEEP!!! :thumbsup:

game 1 = evenly played, we hit a few posts but still won the game
game 2 = we had a slight edge in controlling the game but they hit 3 posts
game 3 = we outplayed them
game 4 = 1st half we dominated, 2nd half they woke up and got a few bounces and go back into the game. Got away with a goal that might've counted. Both teams hit some posts.

We outplayed them in some of the periods throughout 4 games but it wasn't a complete domination (which I didn't expect to happen). Lu was spectacular and other than the latter half of tonight's game, our D has been solid. You have to admit though we've had luck on our side since maybe a month or two ago with bounces going our way and the same applies to this series.

Anyhow, great series win against THE HOTTEST team coming into the playoffs and we managed to frustrate the heck out of their top scorers and SHUT DOWN THEIR PP as well for the sweep.

Time to heal up and get ready for the next round. :haha:

Anyone know when round 2 tickets go on sale?
