Tons of people gave us credit for playing lights out from February onwards. In fact, lots was made of the fact that this series was between the two teams that had the most points since the all-star break. I think the Blues had not lost two in a row since January... and for us to demolish them in four straight is quite extraordinary.

That's generally what blackouts are for... you blackout the local market to try and encourage the viewer to go and buy tickets and watch the game in person. Of course, this is only applicable to teams that have attendance problems... it doesn't make sense to do it for games that are sold out.
