over my years of being a nucks fan
i've noticed that 3/4 of the 4 captains were very committed to the team
with the exception of Messier, which i have the up most respect for
the next one needs to be just as committed
Some will question Nazzy's commitment, but i have no doubts in my mind, he would have loved to lead this team to a cup and prove to the hockey world he isnt weak, and to show his country of sweden that he can play some decent hockey

I remember players like Jason King and even Cowan with his 5 goal stint and people started treating them as if they're our solution to our offensive woes. All is good with fans until reality sets in.
Good goal indeed but I don't know why you guys get so excited easily. | I agree... But you should go to http://forum.canucks.com/
and read the threads. Only then, will you appreciate this thread and revscene.
Personally, I cant stand reading the canucks.com forum anymore.

Damn, Schneider was fricken good last game agaist Edmonton. Really good option for Vancouver if Luongo doesn't sign. 8 million to spend and a cheap starting goalie that can be a Miller type for us. Then again, Gillis isn't going to spend the 8 million anyways.

hmm... so yesterday Canucks' first goal was scored by Cowan... and today's first Canucks' goal was scored by Hordichuk. Maybe we'll have 4 scoring lines

Team today looks really tough and willing to fight. I like it as long as they don't instigate. Nobody will mess with anyone on the team haha.. go nucks.

OT:
I'm curious.. why does BC Ferries have prime real estate advertising along the boards in front of the Canucks bench?
What is the point of them advertising?
It's like having ICBC advertise there or something. It's a service people have to pay for. I don't think they are trying to get tourists or something to take BC Ferries, I mean, it's a boat that takes you from point A to point B.
I am really curious as to how much that advertisement costs. What a waste of money IMO.

so far I'm liking what I see with Steve Bernier... he's constantly planted infront of the net, and he seems to be in the center of scuffles a lot. The grit is definitely a plus and what most Vancouver fan's have wanted, since big Bert
Hodgson seems to do it all, he's pretty amazing thus far. He's pretty strong with the puck possession, and he does a lot of poke checking. If he just gets a bit more speedy, who knows what he can do!
Grabner and Hansen, you can see the potential they have when partnered up, now to just wait and see how the rest of the season goes (if they remain with the team, which I sure hope they do).
Johnson winning most of his face-offs and that one excellent blocked shot early in the game, definitely gets a thumbs up from me.
Also it's good to see Salo playing an offensive game again, with his multiple slapshots and joining in an offensive play.
Overall, I thought it was a pretty good game, although there were some break downs. I thought the Nycholat guy was kind of sloppy during the game, but can't judge his abilities based on a single game.
