My parents know about 3 of my tattoos and I promised no more. I lied lol.
My parents are super traditional but they are better than before. They just seem to be stuck on the idea I won't ever find a husband if I have so many tattoos. I know. I'm baffled by this as well.

I got mine done by Cohen floch check him out, really nice guy and he completely listens to all of your ideas! Check out his ig and I posted a picture of mine a few posts up. Are you looking for more of a traditional Irezumi style or more of a newer style like truong /the guys at chronic ink?

Can anyone recommend local artists in Vancouver that are doing blackwork?
Not contemporary blackwork like Maxime at Sang Bleu, but more traditional(?) blackwork. Not too sure how to explain it, but an example would be: https://instagram.com/mattydarienzo/
I've gotten two pieces by Katie So at Black Medicine Tattoo on Gore St. but she's getting busy so I wouldn't mind collecting artwork from other locals!
