3) 2 months old
4) not that i know of
5) it's alright for a daily driver... thinking of getting turbo boosted

1) 2006 subaru sti
2) 26,400km
3) track car
4) from engine rebuilding to complete interior stripping to roll cage to upgraded turbo
5) i can kill a lambo with this thing

1) 2007 acura mdx
2) 33K+
3) family car/gf car
4) 5) i got nothing to comment

Lomac 07-09-2008 10:20 PM

1) 1993 Mazda MX6 LS
2) Purchased mid-May with 214,XXX on the body.
3) Currently sitting on jackstands on my driveway.
4) Major services include a brand new engine and ATX -> MTX swap... both within the past month, and I am now in the middle of a supercharger install.
5) No idea. Haven't driven it further than down the block since I've gotten it.

Meowjin 07-10-2008 01:42 AM

didn't hyde post in a thread he bought an evo with a credit card?

illwdt 07-10-2008 04:32 AM

damn. hyde how do you drive those all at once!!

bensta 07-10-2008 04:41 AM

1992 integra GSR
bought at 239,000km and now sits at 258,000
only took me since feb 08 till now to rack on almost 20k.
drive mission to chilliwack and back daily.
hood/bumper are rock chipped but nothing bad.
major service is clutch, fuel filter, axle, and waiting to install timing belt/waterpump/tensioner.
i feel this car is more reliable than my 1996 honda civic was.. haha.

Roach 07-10-2008 08:14 AM

1. 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 - Pearl White
2. Bought March 1st/07 - Now at 64,500kms. Yikes!
3. Turbo seal has gone bad. All plastic parts of the car are fading to yellow after just over a year.
4. I don't do the major services. Just oil changes. I think I've done about 7 or 8 in the past 17months.
5. Ridiculous amount of power. Great hatch utility. Front heavy means it's not the greatest handler. Have taken it to Alberta twice and it's a monster on the highway. Responds well to mods. Just not much quality stuff out there for the car. In spite of the turbo and paint issue, I still love her to death.

svelt 07-10-2008 08:49 AM

1. 2002 Lexus IS300 (5-spd)
2. Bought at ~110,000 kms, now around 130,000kms
3. This might sound like a pre-sale ad but the car is as solid as a brick - Lexus reliability true to name.
4. The usual fluid changes/maintenance. Timing belt coming up.
5. Don't drive it too often (u-pass). Decent power, RWD, good for a spirited drive, clutch very forgiving and fine in bumper to bumper traffic. Trunk and rear seating lacking (often have to drive several people or haul stuff). Pricey premium gas.

Review on previous vehicle -

1. 2002 Acura RSX (base)
2. Bought at 30,000 km, driven until 60,000 km
3. Someone else is driving it, hopefully enjoying it more
4. Totally neglected it due to lack of interest, but did do the oil changes.
5. Hated it. Decent fuel economy but was a FWD econobox dressed up as a sporty car. The fallacies of youth...

kookoobird88 07-10-2008 02:01 PM

SHIFT_drift 07-10-2008 05:43 PM

1) 1989 Nissan 240sx

To the guy that details Veyrons' with 10 stage-paint-depth sensors on Youtube... duh!

Gwilo 07-21-2008 12:37 PM

1 -Miata 1992 (Fully PAID)

2 -Bought in 2002 (Aug) 110,000 km Current 211,500 km

3 -Condition good , over $ 25,000 put into the car. (cash)

4 –Rebuilt engine, tranny and dif at 205,xxx km
4a – Turbo added and standalone ECU

5 - Is a daily driver is summer only planning on keeping the car another 15 to 20 years (then it will be my coffin)

1 –Pontiac SunRunner 1995 (Suzuki Sidekick 2x4) (Bought CASH fully paid)

2- Bought in 2005 170,xxx km Current 220,xxx

3- Condition ? It is my winter car and take the dog to the park/beach car so who cares.

4- Major service new clutch ($ 550.00) caused by a bad clutch cable ($25.00 part).

5- Works great still has a good 10 years left in it will sell it next year (already have a buyer)

Sweet2L 07-21-2008 12:55 PM

1) 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX

2) Bought new in Nov. 02, currently 106,xxx km

3) I'm not gonna lie, it's battle-scarred. Bumpers scratched up/rock-chipped, miscellaneous scratches dings around vehicle... this has been a daily for me since day one and I've taken her everywhere with me. Also was broken into 4x in a span of 8 months when I lived in Vancouver/Richmond. On the upside, paint is still shiny though :D

4) Had the 48k service done at Total when it was still around in North Van, and the 96k at Subaru (raped for $900+). Had oil changes done at drive-through shops every 6k for the first half of its life, been doing them myself as of late.

5) Love the car... I honestly can't see myself giving this vehicle up. It's never had any major mechanical problems even through all my mods ricer and otherwise *knock on wood*, it looks different that most everything else on the road, and it's pretty quick. It does it all from taking me to work, buying groceries, and the occasional auto-x. Woo.

It's blue, stock exterior except lowered, red honda emblems, visors, yellow fogs, white halogens and fitfreak.net sticker in the back. You probably won't see me since I don't go around there as often enough. lol
