How many KM have you put on your car?

So everybody, how many KM have you put on your car since you got whatever car you're driving now, whether it be new or old.

1) Year and Vehicle

2)If it's brand new, list out new, how many years driven, and KM.

or

2) If it's old, list how many KM when you got it, how many years driven and KM.

3) Condition of the car

4) Major services down on vehicle @ which KM since you got hte car

5) Whether you like how it's holding up for you everyday needs

So I'll start I guess:

1) 2008 Honda Fit Sport
2) New, driven for 4 months and almost 9000KM (I drive to surrey and back everyday and around town)

3) Pretty new still except rock chip on front hood

4) Hm. Not sure if SRS Recall counts as Major Service. lol, other than that no major services.

5) Underpowered, but good on gas. Lots of room, interior is OK, and kinda of fun to drive I guess.

..and You?

**EDIT: Please edit your post and post a picture too if you can too!

6) Do you guys plan to drive it to death, rebuild it, etc. (keeping car till it actually dies out after rebuild, etc etc)

Presto 07-09-2008 01:38 PM

1) 2005 Toyota Prius
2) New, driven for over 3 years, just crossed the 100k threshold a few days ago.
3) 3 years of rock chips :)
4) No major services
5) Love it. It does everything I want it to, and gets good economy while doing it!

orange7 07-09-2008 01:45 PM

1) 2008 Acura/Honda TSX
2) New, 7 months, a bit over 7000km
3) Rock chips and very minor invisible scratches
4) No major services, the only service I've done so far is oil change at 5200km
5) Not enough torque for going up hills in the greater Vancouver district

quasi 07-09-2008 01:50 PM

1) 2008 Ford F150 4x4 Crew Cab
2) 7 months 20,000 KM's
3) Window Chip and scuffed up wheel well, not paying attention for the lose.
4) Works fine for work no issues.
5) Not great gas mileage, running just under $200 a fillup and filling up three times every two weeks. I would have liked another color.

4444 07-09-2008 02:06 PM

1) 2006 honda civic Si
2) Since Aug 06 (2 years) 50k kms
3) Good condition, some paint chips
4) Oil changes to synthetic & tranny fluid change to synthetic
5) Good enough car, build quality is lacking compared to jap. honda's - enough power, great fuel economy for a pretty quick little nipper (8L/100km)

Shun Izaki 07-09-2008 02:14 PM

1) 2004 Acura RSX Type-S
2) New, driven for just under 4 years and almost 80,000KM (I drive alot around town)

3) Rock chips, few dings on rear bumper, and scratched up front bumper

4) no real services, because I do my own stuff... had them take a look at teh seat rail issue, and the grinding, but that's bound to happen....

5) Good on gas 500+km/tank 50L @ 92oct. Quick enough to boot around or do what I want, lets me run with friends. Very sleek (it's a love/hate look car), and it's given me all the stress relief I need. oh and VTAK!!!

Eclypz 07-09-2008 02:20 PM

1) 2003 Honda S2000

5) Reliable, fun to drive, 10L/100KM

RabidRat 07-09-2008 02:52 PM

1) 2006 Mazda3 GT
2) New on Feb06, driven 45,000km over 2.5 years. Daily driven to SFU, autocross, track, misc daily use.
3) Various little things here and there.
4) No servicing from the dealer whatsoever. Aside from gas and oil changes, the only "repairs/maintenance" I do is throw out the OEM garbage for aftermarket parts. =D
5) 12L/100km is fucking bullshit for a car putting out 185hp, and it's because I have to drive it hard to have any fun. Next time, I'll get a car that comes with more power stock and save some gas. It's also ridiculous how much I had to put into the suspension to make this car even close to tolerable even as a daily driver. Modding is fun and all, but in the long run it's *cheaper* with far better reliability to just buy a car that comes the way you want it.

q0192837465 07-09-2008 02:58 PM

1) 2003 BMW 300xi
2) April 2003, just reached 50k
3) Everything works great except for rock chips & scratches/dings here & there
4) None whatsoever
5) Enough power to get me around, amazing handling, build quality is top notch. 1 thing I dun like is the 15L/100km. Otherwise, lovely.

venemis 07-09-2008 03:00 PM

!oHenry 07-09-2008 04:58 PM

1) 1988 Prelude
2) Got it at just over 260k . Driven for 9 months, put almost 30K
3) Everything works well, few scratches and rock chips here and there.
4) Changed the axle yesterday (done by me)
b) Engine rebuild at 150k (not done by me)
c) Fluids flushed and changed (done by me)
d) Regular oil changes at 4k-5k (done by me)
5)Love it. Awesome on gas, occasionally i get better milage than some hybrids out there. However, alot of work is needed to keep it running in tiptop shape.

Black SC2 07-09-2008 05:17 PM

2002 Saturn SC2
Got it new with 7kms on it, it's got just over 94 000kms now.
Overall condition is near new. Minor rock chips on the hood/ front fascia, and two door hacks on the driver's side.
No big issues with it. I had to replace the shifter cables, as they were working themselves out of the crimped fittings on the transmission end, and the brakes have been replaced. Both issues can probably be related to track use.
My only complaint is the utter lack of an aftermarket for these cars/ drivetrain. Other than that, it's got more torque, more features, and better handling than all of it's similarly priced competition from the same year, and the plastic panels are rad!

Minata 07-09-2008 05:24 PM

1) 07 Yaris HB
2) New, 17100 kms in two years
