1) Year and Vehicle 2005 Scion XB 2)If it's brand new, list out new, how many years driven, and KM. or 2) If it's old, list how many KM when you got it, how many years driven and KM. 30000 km when I got it. 70000 KM now. Had it for just over a year and a half 3) Condition of the car A couple little scratches when I got it. A couple more from early last year when we had the huge snow storm and I backed up a little too close to a snow bank. Not a huge deal. Could fix it myself. 4) Major services down on vehicle @ which KM since you got hte car Fluids changed. Tires changed. Thats it. 5) Whether you like how it's holding up for you everyday needs Couldnt ask for more. Sure it might not be the fastest vehicle on the road but its a ton of fun to drive. |
1) 2005 Honda Civic LX-G 2) 106,500km since new 3) highway driven for last 3 years in all seasons and conditions (rain, hail, heavy snow, ice, freezing rain) with major rock chips, chipped windscreen, hit and runned, dinged, fine scratches etc The body of car is not in good condition, but the engine is babied. 4) Standard maintenance, performed on or before schedule. Battery replaced as well. 5) 500km on a tank of gas. Who cares if its an underpowered car, its a civic. |
1) 09 civic sport 2) new, 5 and a half months old 11xxxkm 3) window broken into, rock chips, 1 accident, damage fromt hes hop while they fixed the first accident, tail light smashed 4) 1st service test at 5037km at van honda 5) good on gas, gets me places so im good |
1) 2001 Honda Prelude SE 2) Purchased in 2004, had ~40000km on it now at 71000km 3) Could use some paint touch-ups, just got a couple dents fixed. 4) No major services 5) It's my baby |
1) 1993 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 (paid for) 2) Got it late 2007 in Yuen Long, Hong Kong :haha: 3) Still looks minty fresh 4) Car bought at 132k blew the headgasket about 148k and replaced, just replaced timing belt 160k. Every week something funky went wrong between September 2008 and November 2009 (last thing I fixed was the frost plug leaking), many modifications done during the ownership. Crashed by some blind chicks in Dec2008, repaired and repainted. 5) It's fantastic. It's not so fantastic when anything breaks on you and you find out that you can't find the part in north america. 1) 1997 Mercedes C36 AMG (paid for) 2) Got it in 2007 from Richmond Subaru 3) Looks like retired gangster's car 4) Bought at 140k now at 158k only driven 4 months a year. All services following Mercedes' guidelines and the only off schedule breakdown was the ASR/ABS system fuck up due to mysterious source of oil cloaking the wires under the carpet. Checking weekly ever since but no oil is found. 5) check 3) 1) 1984 Toyonda Corolla S2000R5 (auctioned in) 2) Got it in 2005 with the 4AC at 238k km 3) Can drive it into Import Fest any day 4) Second F20C engine in the car because the first engine puked its upper rad hose and I didn't have the gauges/lights system to tell me about it (the factory temp gauge does nothing when there is no coolant in the system) 5) If you like to wrestle your car around corners and make other drivers go wtf and onlookers to cheer on this is the weapon of mass distraction. It hates racing lines and chews racing theories with its timing chain. |
1) 2008 Lancer Evolution 2) Bought 354 days ago. Now at around 19K 3) Some minor rock chips and 2 door dings from other cars. Very little swirl marks, but they're starting to form :(. 4) I've done all the recalls except for the impact sensors. Rear diff was leaking oil for some odd reason and was replaced for free under warranty @ around 12K. 5) Even on springs, the car is low enough for my exhaust midpipe flange to scrape ramps/speed bumps/etc. The trunk is also a bit too small since the battery and windshield wiper fluid reservoir is behind the rear seats. Other than that, the car is very roomy, handles well in all conditions, and looks hella sexy! |
need a new project Man I need to upgrade soon, all I have is my DD. 1)2005 Honda Civic Si (EM2) (paid) 2)Bought as a salvage title from ICBC in may 2008, had it fixed, was at 25,000 km when I bought it, now its 45,xxx. I dont drive too much or too far. 3)Was fixed perfectly with OEM parts, makes no noises or anything, some small dings/scratches here and there thanks to shitty parkers, other than that great shape. 4)Just oil changes, gonna change brakes/tires soon. This car is bulletproof. 5)EXCELLENT daily driver car. 5 spd manual makes the lackluster wimpy 1.7l d17 motor somewhat fun. 7th gen got screwed, our Si's shoulda had a K motor. :/ Handles very well and is fun in the city. Keep it over 4k and you can give some juiced up cars a bit of competition, for a few seconds at least. :P Wanting to sell it soon cause I want to upgrade to something a little more powerful/luxurious. Anyone want? :P 1)2004 Suzuki SV650 v-twin motorcycle 2)Paid for fully. Bought it as salvage title, 16,xxx on the odo. 3)Ding on the gas tank, other than that great condition for a salvaged bike. 4)Nothing major other than the fact its a rebuild, swapped out the front forks for inverted gsxr 750 forks. 5)Fun, not crazy overpowered, but lotsa torque with the v-twin. Still a noob with bikes. Kinda scary with all the shitty drivers in the lower mainland, but hey I want to have a little fun when im young. |
just found this old thread, here goes: 1) 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (all paid) 2) bought in sep 2006 with about 143,000km (181,000km now) 3) some minor dents and scratches on body, cracked dashboard :( , but other than that everything works both mechanically and electronically 4) 2 clutches replaced, first was the oem when I bought it was getting weak and replaced it with an ACT clutch and then a year and half later the "fingers" on the diaphragm spring of the ACT pressure plate broke so I had to have it changed again 5) apart from the clutch breaking it's been very reliable.... but underpowered, although that will change this year :) |

1) 2003 C230 2) 11 kms when rolled out of the showroom, 176K kms now 3) Decent. Could use a repaint of the hood and front bumper. 4) Replaced engine at 120K kms due to crappy Mercedes reliability. 5) Drives well now, yet too a long time to sort out all the little issues. Had all issues taken care of on replacement engine before it was transplanted. I honestly still love this car despite all the problems I've had with it. The last 2 years have been problem free after 5 years of various issues. Everytime I think of getting rid of it I cannot find another car that drives as nice daily with the same options for the price. |
1) 2008 Mazda3 Hatch 2) Bought new in April 2008 (28,xxx Km now) 3) Usual rockchips and a hit and run scar on rear bumper 4) Usual oil changes/ scheduled stuff 5) Squeaks and rattles are kinda annoying. |
1) 2010 Subaru STi 2) New. Driven 1 day. 9km when i got it. 109km now. 3) Showroom condition 4) Need to break it in =P 5) Love it. Absolutely love it. |
1) 2000 integra type R 2) Bought @ 1st of nov 2009 @ 194,600km 3) rock chips, nicks, dings, scuffs. battle scars and the works. 4) replaced whole bottom end w/ built bottom end, rebuilt head, upgraded- clutch, flywheel, exhaust. 5) couple of squeaks that i would eventually fix. intending to keep the car for a couple of years. so... a lengthy to do/ mod list i think i own the highest mileaged ITR in the lower mainland.. =X |

Gotta love RS. You make a new thread like this and someone complains that there is already a thread like it. You post in an old thread and someone complains that you are bumping an old thread. |
