I hate how you guys are not motivated in life resorting me to hang out with other buddies who are helluva lot more motivated in life than you guys. One guy is 20 and he's saving up to put a down payment on a house. Props. Another also 20 is saving up for a car and might sell his sportbike if necessary. He's got a mode of transportation and he lives on his own. Props. I wouldn't say 'resort' I like them, but I like you guys too... But day by day you guys waste is another day I don't want to be around you guys. It's the difference between fun vs reality, we're not getting any younger. I know we're young now, we should be out fucking drinking living the dream. We did that, but you guys are going to hit rock bottom. What happens when we're 25?
Of the whole group of 5 ppl, how many of us drive? 2. Me and one other, you guys should all be driving or at the very fucking least have your drivers license by age 21-22. For fucks sakes, why it's bothering me? You guys are my fucking buddies, I want to hang out with you guys but I don't because you guys live by the paycheck and die by the paycheck. It motivates me to do the same, I do do the same within a smart budget. C'mon guys, we're not fucking making 4-5 grand a month to be living this lifestyle anymore. We're 20-23, the partying is fucking awesome I can't wait to be at Deadmau5 with you guys next month. Serious, it's what gets me through this month. But, despite the awesome memories what do you guys have left to show? Nothing.
It's fun as fuck partying with you guys, but in the end I'm able to save up $600/month after paying bills, gas, food, etc. You guys... $0. I shouldn't be thinking about this, but it's just you guys drag me down...
I pick you guys up, we buy beer, we buy chron, then I drive all our asses around, then I drop all you guys off at home, then I drive home. It's 50/50 for the booze and bud, but all this commuting adds up and you guys fucking take it for granted. I am not hauling ass your asses around anymore.
I know you guys have noticed I've stopped calling less and less to hang out, and you guys have been doing the same. Maybe you guys hate my lifestyle now? Which is fine. I've landed a great job that I can advance as a career, an apprenticeship job. They'll pay me to go to school!
What about you guys? One is doing grocery the other movie theatre? C'mon...
Within the past months that we haven't hung out, I've been saving up for something. Every mans dream, a sportsbike. I hope this makes you guys jealous, jealous that'll lead to motivation. Motivation to do better, to do something. I don't want to be 24-25 years old, having my own place, own car etc. while you guys barely pass life with the scrapings off the bottom of the barrel. I'll be there for you guys, but my tolerance will only last so long.
I've been hanging out with some buddies from work, but as a friend I'm still there for you fuckers despite how you guys went beach to drink without dropping a slight shout. Blazing lots, without shooting a text. Whatever, just do better is all I can ask for...
I hate myself for this post, to acknowledge reality for what it is and what it may become years down.

it's so sad how i've been looking for a job for the past two months and the closest i can get is being shortlisted as one of two and losing out due to experience. this fucking sucks and as each day goes by it pisses me off even more.
sometimes i want to move somewhere else to find work because it'll probably be easier, but then i think and i realize i can't leave vancouver. theres too much going on here.
