Wow just got most of my 360 assignments. Fuck, now I will never get an A. I can see why this class is impossible.

Anyone ever have Bus 254 with Michael Favere-Marchesi? Going to change my major to Bus probably and not sure if I should take that course just yet.Might drop my GPA. I have most of the 9 courses required just need BUEC 232.

Its either 254 or some sort of GPA booster. I guess Psyc 100 but I hear that course has a lot of work and its hard for a 100 level course.

ling 100 is a gpa booster. for all the midterms so far, she's given us an extra 5% on our marks so we don't bitch about the marking.

Feels like I'm putting a lot of effort into 360 already, but still can't get a decent grade. There's definitely a few people I can guess that are getting an A. And I can't believe a group actually handed in their final report already...

I thought I got an A on the portfolio because it was simply revising what they wrote on the original draft but they gave me a B+ instead. That fucker was so brutal on the email case study submission 1. I got a D+ on it. I didn't even get a single A on any of the assignments returned. I thought our group did well on the report draft 2 but our marks say otherwise.

Yea one group already submitted their report in. And can you believe our prof actually humiliated one of the groups saying he gave a C- to them as christmas present. That wasn't our group but he was such a faggot even mentioning it.

Pretty sure that all the white people in our class are getting the A's ( no offense if you are white).

For me 254 is a pretty difficult course, probably the hardest lower-division :okay:

By the way, since today is the last day to drop courses, does anyone know if dropping a wait listed course later one (will I get charged the $50?)

I'm currently taking 254 with Masood and feel it is considerably harder than 251 (took it with Anne McDonald). I just find the concepts/theory harder and more time consuming to understand. However, talking to my other two friends, they find found 254 easier than 251 haha.

Buec232 is definitely easier than 254 though.

Longstory short, I had some emergency I wasn't able to attend the final class, which we were getting our "take-home-final" handed out. I was told by the TA that I should be getting an e-mail for the topics anyways, but if not, to e-mail her in the next few days. I did exactly that, and she directed me to the Professor to send me a copy. After e-mailing him, he basically said I was irresponsible and that I should have a "meeting" with him on Tuesday about it. Basically, not giving me the topic.

I have finals on weds, thurs, and friday, and the last thing I need is to have such a stupid reason to fail a final that I know I can do well in:

Marchesi wrote the textbook that you'll be using, and hence he knows everything inside out. From what i've heard (his students and his TA's) he's a good professor but at the same time, expects a lot from his students. He is definitely not going to be easy. I heard he expects a lot from his TA's as well, to fully understand the concepts, so I'm sure they'll do a much better job teaching.

For most lower division business courses, its curved anyways. Meaning that your grade is relative to the class.

Psyc 100 and 102 both have heavy workloads.... I took 102 and it was the toughest (in terms of workload) electives ever. 8 quizzes, 3 midterms, 1 paper, 1 final, and each chapter of the book is like 40-60 pages.

Psyc 100 and 102 were pretty easy IMO, took both in surrey and got an A in 100 and A- in 102

I thought you're able to move exams if you have two within 24 hours?

I have 2 exams in one day, and 3 exams on every other day the week after.

I'm already starting to compile notes from lectures/text together so it'll be easier and quicker to study for each of the finals

Thankfully I got one that I was doing good enough in to sacrifice time from but fuck, that feeling when you put in so much effort all semester long. Then finals roll around and you get royally fucked ...

I guess my friend got lucky. She had two exams in one day, and her kin prof let her take the exam on a different day.
