^^ i dealt something similar. Lucky, I ended up passing all of them with decent grade. I basically studied couple weeks in advance and spent more time on the finals that were worth more. GL!

Why must finals be like 1-2 days right after class ends? I hate this shit.

Brain is about to explode from studying.

Has anyone taken BUS 345, Marketing Research? I'd like to take a look at the course syllabus and which specific topics are covered.

^ not sure if this will help. But it shows the tentative and past course outlines for BUS courses.

Be thankful you don't have 6 finals in 5 or 4 days like you do in BCIT

zetazeta 12-02-2012 11:26 AM

man having been out of school during the summer.... i have no motivation to study for finals.... the last time I studied for finals was in April :O

fs604 12-02-2012 11:34 AM

went to school today to pick up upass. upass dispensers closed. :okay:

RacingMetro92 12-02-2012 12:31 PM

Well, there goes my 2.7 GPA. Fucking History and 272 classes. Didn't know I'd get nitpicked at during the Case Competition and apparently using shit from the readings is frowned upon when doing a final paper when it's RELEVANT to the paper.

Not AP levels yet but I'd like to stay above 2.5:badpokerface:

dropping weight like mad .. have an inability to eat anything more than half a standard sized sandwich. Living off coffee and small biscuits from renaissance. You guys should try this diet, down 6 lbs since saturday :fuckthatshit:

Fuck .. never felt so stressed. Taking my first 'break' in 3 days. Watching tv for ~30 minutes.

Oh well, if it was easy everyone would be doing it. If it was worth doing, it wouldn't be easy.

YMCMB, YOLO, 4 more days. Man the fuck up!

I even now officially have a blanket and a pillow in my car for taking quick naps in between studying sessions lol.

Warning to those going into 3rd year business. Shit gets much more real. The slackers have been filtered out so expect super high averages.

Average for most business 3rd year classes is close to 80%. Good luck trying to get A's or even a B+.

I have been getting A's and B+'s for many lower level business classes, but now I am expecting C+'s and B-'s. My fucking god, where are the fucking slackers when you need one.

mc. 12-03-2012 11:31 PM

Don't worry. The avg in your upper levels is bumped up to a B/B-

SNSD 12-03-2012 11:39 PM

sigh I just handed in my bus 272 self-assessment paper on webct 3 minutes before it was due. Then I look at it once more and find that my citations page is in the middle of the paper and not at the end.. I e-mailed the Ta 20mins after the deadline. Hope she is lenient D:

If you've been on top of the curve in lower division classes, you'll most likely be on the top end again. I actually find upper division courses easier (other than a couple accounting classes) than lower division classes.

vvd 12-04-2012 05:29 AM

I'll be back at SFU in Jan. Took a year break to do something else. I heard that since I left there's been a new system for the fitness room (no more of those round tags?) what's going on with that?

Good luck with exams by the way! :dizzy:

Upper division curves a LOT more B's and A's than lower divisions. Most lower divisions are capped at 14% or so A's whereas some of my upper divisions are 40-50% A's. Whereas class average in a lower div course would generally result in a C to B-, the same mark in an upper division course could net you up to a B+ depending on the course.

I found upper division a lot easier..... my UDGPA is a good .4 higher than my CGPA.... I've always been in the middle of the curve for lower div (only 1 A- amongst all the core classes), and now I'm sitting at the top of the curve for most of my upper div.
