My friend took it with him last semester, and she says that the connect code is optional. It's supposed to be extra help on the side for grammar or something..

Good luck.

Class has a max size of 25 (or 30) people with only 15 people enrolled.

Course material seems very interesting - how's the course load, exams, etc?

Really easy class. A huge chunk of your mark is based on easy iClicker questions which he does every class. The rest of your grade is spread across two midterms and a final exam (all multiple choice).

I was just wondering if there are areas with cheaper parking rates, I park beside the applied science building and it's 13$ a day, I go to school 2 days a week, from 10:30-7:30.
Paying for the parking until midnight, does it permit park and going(leaving and coming back without paying again for parking)? As I have a 3 hour break on one of my days.

Does anyone know how to stay connected to sfu secure for a longer time? Do I have to change some settings? after around 13 mins connected my connection stops working and I have to connect to the network again by xpress connect, connecting from airport otherwise does not work I have to use xpress connect. I have a 2011 macbook pro os x 10.6.8.

GF's Macbook has this problem as well. Every single time she has to re login to SFU Secure. No problems on my laptop with Windows though.

Would you say his exams were based off his lecture notes or the textbook?

Anyone taken 374 with Adam Cotterall?

3klipze 09-09-2014 08:44 PM

I don't know if I can live through MACM 316. Doing the first assignment is already killing me

I have no idea how to do the first assignment.. hopefully I can get some help in the workshop tomorrow.

My friends who took the class in the summer had a really easy prof, they didn't even need to use matlab at all. :okay:

When I came to school this morning and was looking for parking( area by applied science building, those 3-4 lots are all visitor parking lots I think, correct me if I'm wrong). I saw many cars with a blue/ or redish circular sticker that seemed to be for parking. Is that the parking pass that you get if you win the parking lottery? I see on the sfu map that parking area is for both permits and non permit parking, are there designated areas in the lots that are specifically for permit or non permits, or could you park anywhere.

Anyone know if you can see the sunrise on Burnaby Mountain or somewhere on SFU campus?

I dunno, I kinda actually prefer coding since that means that exams and finals shouldn't be as difficult.
