I took poetry with everton, his lectures actually made poetry really interesting. If you do take it with him, don't bother buying the textbook, you can just google the poems, and print them out yourself. Also, if i remember correctly it was 1 paper, 1 revision, and a final.

Has anyone taken Pol 210 with David Laylock? How is the course in terms of difficulty? And is it easy enough for a first year to take the class?

im too fucking jaded to comment
as long as you think you're working towards a goal that justifies the amount of effort your putting in, keep doing it.

Yup, they send a physical report card every semester. Its a big white envelope, look for it around 2 or 3 weeks after you write your last final.

If you fail any classes, you are required to see an advisor to form a study plan. If you do not, they pay a visit to your home to see how they can improve your study environment.

It also has to be signed by your parent or legal guardian and returned to the school registrar office.

Im pretty sure you dont require parent signature cause most students are 19+. I think when I applied, I selected the option to email my parents my grades. Is there a way to undo that?

v_tec 11-26-2014 02:38 AM

I thought she took a break for 2-3 years? As a first year don't take political theory unless you're interested or majoring in Polisci. If you are still interested, take POL 210 with Brian Thomas, lectures are interesting, fair marker class won't be a cake walk.

Any tips for studying for Anne Macdonald's exam Bus 251? anyone remember the content on theirs? Was it mostly theory based because after the midterm it was mostly theory, not many calculations

Took the class in spring, my memory's a bit rusty but I remember it being super similar to the format of the midterm, except it's longer in length. Just think of it as a cumulative, bigger midterm. You're gonna be using up all three hours for that exam.
