I found the material in 312 to be quite difficult, but Zitron is a okay/decent prof. Note: He doesn't give you past mts/finals to study off (whereas Blazenko exams are open book, and based on the previous mts/finals that he provides to you to study off).
Took 336 with Johnson, but I have heard great things about Maroney. 336 is a bit more difficult compared to 232.

I had Blazenko for 312, but i've heard good things about Zitron. Like gYU said, Blazenko's exams are open book and his exams are exactly the same as the sample midterms (with slight modifications), so it would be slightly easier with him. However, Zitron is still a good professor. His exams are intermediate level. They're not super hard, but you will need to know the concepts really well in order to finish the exam on time. Practice lots of questions for this class.

Any recommendations for fairly easy upper division, non-BUS, non-BUEC courses?

Anyone in these classes? Not sure how I feel about Arch distance ed, but I heard they're relatively easy. Anyone have any input?

But you'll need permission from Langara first to make sure they'll allow you to use the SFU course as credit.

Has anyone taken GEOG 102 with Faran Ali? I took GEOG 111 with him already so I kinda have a feel for his teaching style, but what are his tutorials/assignments like in 102? Are the assignments big?

Whats the earliest exam possible at sfu? I'm pretty sure it's at 830am, but I've been told by a friend they can start as early as 7:30. Is that true?

Why does it matter? As long as mine aren't super early then I don't really care about other exam times lol
Never heard of an exam occurring at 7:30AM though

Earliest I've had is 8:30. You sure your friend didn't mean 7:30pm?

ATTN: Faran Ali no longer marks as easy as he use to. The department spoke with him about why his class averages were so fucking high all the time and now his classes are no longer jokes

Source: Friend taking GEOG411 with him currently | People in his 100 level classes this term say his marking is super easy though. Maybe that's because it's an upper division class? Did he specifically say that to the class?

Is he just assuming that since he didn't do well on an assignment/exam?
I mean the education faculty has a mean GPA of 3.6...Approximately 2/3 of the people in each class get an A grade so I don't know why they're talking to Faran Ali. Yeah, his class averages are normally a B, but that's not extremely high when you compare it to some other programs.

Then education and some other arts programs were near 3.6.
