On D Street, next to a bunch of other gas stations. The USA Mini-Mart is across the street from the Shell, right next to the Texaco.

Awesome, thanks!

I go to the Valero (used to be the Texaco). Slightly cheaper than Shell/Chevron, and their BEER CAVE is just amazing. :D

How has the experience been at 5dpackages? I've been using Pacific Mail and Parcels for years but the fees have gone up quite a bit since I joined, spending way too much every month on fees... I'm looking at switching, Point Roberts isn't an option for me. Any recommendations in Blaine?

I got a question for people using PR Shell.

I received my customer number earlier today and I'm just wondering whats the use of it? I didn't receive a "special address" in the email, just my customer number. Am I suppose to add it to the shipping address like so: 423-#### Tyee Drive

First time shipping to PR.

Cheers.

tonyzoomzoom 09-09-2014 08:18 PM

It should be:

423 Tyee Dr., #1234

aalex 09-09-2014 08:47 PM

does anyone know what happened to letter carrier?

tonyzoomzoom 09-09-2014 08:56 PM

rats ate the place up

That and the landlord was apparently a dick and didn't want to do anything about it and then also raise the rent.

Looks promising 5Dpackages. I just signed up, will be giving you guys a try on my next parcel. I've used TSB shipping for a few years running now.

I've only ever used 24/7 Parcel in Blaine so I have nothing to compare to but I love it. I just like the fact I can go down in the middle of the night and grab my shit.

^This is correct.

Your customer number is to quickly identify you and make sure they don't give your package to someone else.

ie. People who ship items to them with the same name. With your own personal ID, you should never get anyone else's package.

For the address it will be 423 Tyee Drive #*ID number here*

How much do you guys normally jerry can for gas in states? 100L

jmanhas 09-10-2014 10:15 AM

i usually bring back 3 x 25L jerry cans, and never usually get hassled. However i did get taxed once, and they made me pay 20$ inside.

I hope they are closed for good. they don't know how to run a business properly like p2p

stump 09-14-2014 09:32 AM

Drove past p2p yesterday around 4pm. About 20-30 people lined up out the door. :( I guess weekend trips are probably a bad idea now with Letter Carrier closed.

Does anyone have a place for receiving packages in Portland? Heading down this week and would prefer to avoid the WA state tax if possible. Thanks.

Most hotels will receive packages for their guests. I've had packages sent to me at various Marriott's I've stayed at. Give them a call first and see if they'll do it.

Thanks but unfortunately, I'm doing the whole AirBNB thing this time...

I've been there twice and both has been very good actually. The first time I went, they were just putting up their sign! The hours are awesome and Jaime (I assume) is courteous and helpful. He offered to throw away my boxes and packing bubbles for free.

CRS 10-04-2014 11:29 PM

Just picked up a package from 5d packages and it was awesome. Had the $5 dollar revscene code (props to Jamie) so I didn't have to pay anything and service was quick and prompt. Prices are extremely reasonable and fair. Would definitely recommend.

This will definitely be my go to shipping place.

It's still worth if you get taxed 20 is it not? How much do you guys save per run.
