Point to Point. The charge 3.50 up to 50lbs, they don't care too much about the size.

Is there any difference between them for fees of holding your items?

I've never done shipping and pick up, so not sure what to expect.
Just picking something up around $90.

I bring back a 12 pack every time I go to pick up parcels. However I only cross at Blaine because I find the CBSA officers aren't out to tax you on your way back. Tsb used to be my go to place to pickup parcels until about last year.

I always bring back lots of beer when I go over. I just tell them what I have, they tell me i'm not allowed to have that much. I say sorry i'll pay the duty, they say just don't do it again.

Never understood why people use TLC. They are so crazy busy, especially during the holiday, the lineup is a block long. Point to Point parcel never have wait and it's the closest to the border.

Exactly.

But then again I fill up at Texaco so I end up going pretty far down the road, haha.

A friend of mine said he uses P2P and parks his car at the park near the border. Then walks to P2P.

Said there's no wait time when you cross by foot.
And less trouble and suspicion when it's obvious you can't smuggle much without a vehicle.

Obviously this only works if your item isn't huge and heavy, and if you don't need to fill up...

Have any of you guys done this before??

i drove to TSB a week ago, had to wait an hour at the border. some guy parked at the park and walked over. took him 30 mins to walk to TSB. i gave him a lift back to the border, saved him the 30 minute walk back. and because he walked back over the border, he didnt have to line-up.

it's not a bad idea if you go somewhere closer, like TLC. Even for places like TSB, if you don't mind the walk there and then see if someone will give you a ride back. or bring one of these, lol:

Lol. If I'm walking. I'm only going to P2P...
TSB means I'm driving.

instead of wasting time walking across why dont you just drive 5 extra mins to blaine where waits are usually shorter, gas is cheaper, parcel pickup is cheaper and border guards have more to do and therefore give fewer shits

if your package is already there, you are going to go there to pick it up. you don't know how if there's a wait till you get there (the wait time reports are never accurate)

sometimes there's a wait at the border, sometimes there isn't. it doesn't matter if it's blaine or the point

i've picked up a large number of packages at the point over the years and i have never been asked to pay tax/duty. on the other hand, of the few times i've gone to seattle through blaine, i've been stopped twice and had my car searched.
