^thanks, I'll just ignore it.

For those in CST/CIT around when do we know what option we got into?

anyone here in btech after cst/cit? What option were you in and was it worth it? If you're still in it, do you like your option?

bump for those who completed CST/CIT ^

I just finished CST in june and was in the Digital Processing option. Neither of the Btechs really gained my interest even though I really wanted to do games development it's not really something that I want my btech to just be on.

I decided to go to SFU to get the degree since the digital processing option has the most credits that can be transferred.

^ Similar to Forbidden, but I finished the CIT Diploma program instead of the CST. I barely got any of my credits transferred over though.

So what program are you taking now?

Pursuing a Degree in Comp Sci at SFU

Could you not have advanced to a degree after CIT at bcit?

Did CST diploma then the BTECH in Network Admin + Security. I did Database part time concurrently with Network Admin full time.

It was an awesome ride, no regrets. Learned a lot and after the two programs, I came out ready to take on the world.

I looked into SFU after the CST diploma but not much was transferable and the courses were not very interesting. I met with advisors at both SFU and UBC and concluded that BTECH at BCIT made most sense.
