first day sucks
i found out that i have to spend 200 dollars on ONE textbook =[ FML
and my student loans didnt come in yet FML

Thats quite pricey for a textbook. Mine are usually around $150.

Thats probably a textbook with a CD. If you can find one without a CD then it'll be cheaper by like $20. Lol. Try Chapters. I know they sell my textbooks with no CD.

Wow that orientation was the most boringest thing EVER i swear i wanted to fall asleep in the lecture hall. =(

Learn ways to get around it. The only books I buy from the bookstore are the photocopied lab manuals or the cheap stuff <$15 books.

i tired looking for it online ahha its only cheaper buy a bit
its a data com book
but since now one of my friends found an ebook of it i dont have to buy it ... just hoping its the same one

Anyone doing Marketing Management? Anyone know which clubs are better than others? ie. BCITMA vs AIM?

All the clubs are directed at different things of interest as you will soon find out. And most meetings are before class so they're at 7am woohoo.

My younger sister, my neighbour and a close family friend is in Marketing Management this year.

Hey guys, I have a quick question about BCIT. Is there anything about there internet policy that says I can't play an MMO? May seem stupid but I've got 4 hours to kill right now and I have nothing better to do :(. I thought there was a lab but there wasn't. I couldn't remember whether or not the prof said there was one or there wasn't so I went to school just as a safety net. Now I'm stuck here for 4 hours haha.

how in the world do you get a 4 hour break in your set? the longest break i have is an hour long and that's only twice a week. pretty shitty schedule for you. i don't think you're allowed to play games on the computers at school lol

^I thought I had a lab in the morning, but it was canceled or something, that was supposed to be 2 hours long and I have a break in between the lab and my next class. Still have 2 hours to kill. It's not going to be on the school's computer, it'll be on my laptop.

thank god im doing night classes this year. 3 years ago when i was at bcit i had to fight for parking. i used to come to school an hour early just to get a spot near NE1
