Well its been a year since I made this thread and I gotta say I'm happy with what I've done in a year. My current weight is 225lbs (give or take) and I'm well on my way to the 240lb goal I have set for myself. I should be able to make that in another year. Don't ask me why I've picked that weight I just think at that weight I should look more or less the way I think I want to look lol. Oh well.. keep on lifting keep on growing! I'll post a before and after pic of the past year tomorrow.

Berz out.

40lbs in a year does not equal a hard gainer especially considered your 'on the road' lifestyle.

yeah? i agree, but there are people that gain faster than others, naturally with equivalent amounts of calorie intake and workout regiments.

yeah I used the pad initially, but then didn't want to have to rely on it so I stopped using it and I'm ok now squatting without it. It feels weird if I use the pad now

I think I did.. but honestly I don't remember. I know something for sure. I'm sure as hell not dropping a plate so I can look cool without a pad

Muscle memory is also known as neuromuscular facilitation. It is the neuromuscular system's memorization of motor skills.Muscle memory can best be described as a type of movement with which the muscles become familiar over time. For instance, newborns don’t have muscle memory for activities like crawling, scooting or walking. The only way for the muscles to become accustomed to these activities is for the baby to learn how to do these things and then practice them with a great deal of trial and error.
