Agreed. I work on Steveston Hwy so every once in a while I go down to Pajo's for lunch. Fish is delicious, im not sold on the fries though. But the fish is worth it alone.

And I live 5 min from Al & Jan's in Surrey and I think its even better than Pajo's. Less greasy and the batter is so light and crispy!! Plus on Mondays and Tuesdays they have all you can eat!!!

There's this fish and chips joint in Surrey. Fraser Highway and 152. Right beside the Save-On-Foods.

All you can eat on select days.

Cockney Kings AYCE cod is a good deal, but if you want QUALITY fish and chips, you MUST have HALIBUT there!

I also like Dave's in Steveston and this place by the Keg on Granville Island.

I think Pajo's is average, they aren't very consistent. If there's plenty of people then the fish is good. On a weekday sometimes the quality isn't as good.

I personally like Dave's Fish & Chips (in Steveston Village) because I think Pajo's thickness of the fish isn't what I want.

The thickness of the fish that I like for Fish & Chips is around the Spot's Fish & Chips, and thier beer batter isn't too bad I think.

I think on Monday and Wednesday, for $8.99 you get AYCE cod with unlimited fries and pop. It's a good deal, but very high in fat with all the batter you'll be eating. Most I've had was 6 pieces and I was so fucked up after that, LOL! So greasy.

This is exactly what I find. So now I go there only on sunny weekends, when the turnover is good.
