Ah.
Way back, I shovelled my driveway, the roadside parking, and the section of road in front of my house. If you shovel EVERYTHING and leave perfectly crisp shovel lines, people assume you're the the anal retentive type that will use a front end loader to move every ounce of snow on your street to the roof of their car.
And then when your neighbour's hot english friend has nowhere to park, you can oblige.... er... I mean, I shared my cleared space with my neighbours because I was filled with the Christmas spirit?

Well, the guy (chick, actually) did get stuck and had to dig herself out. All the ideas with the water and ice fail, as the temp was above freezing all night - use your heads, people.
Next time, I call out the RS Beatdown Crew to bring their shovels!
And yeah, got home from coffee this afternoon and ANOTHER jackass in ANOTHER SUV is in the spot... wife won't let me bury this one though, afraid we'll get blamed for any damage. BAH.

FRACK, and we just paid out of our own pockets to get the lane way plowed behind our place. We now have 6ft tall snow banks on either side, but we can drive in and out of our place. Just when I think we are all cool and done. ITS FRACKING SNOWING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Roads are already covered in another thin sheet of snow, cars are already getting covered up again.
