I've gone three times...it's safe. If you can't suck it up and make the trip down there, then you're missing out.

It says the coffee shop is still open, so does that mean they are still making burgers? Although I'm not sure where they would get the meat now haha.

X-Site has some good cheap food and is conveniently placed on Hastings in Burnaby, but their burgers aren't even half as good as some others mentioned in this thread.

Yeah the burgers always come with a salad and baked potatoes. I think its because they don't have a deep fryer.

Burgers are very similar to the fully dressed White Spot or In-N-Out burgers (with cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc). Fatburger does have other unique extra you can add on like a fried egg. Shakes are decent. Overall its ok but a little overpriced. Most Fatburger locations have a Vera's Burger nearby, and I would much rather eat there.

fatburger is like jlo said, similar to whitespot. overpriced though. i only get it once a year, and it's always (surprisingly) during celebration of lights when im around the area.

so went down to seattle to visit some relatives, on the way back, stopped off for some shopping and.... FOUND THE CARL'S JUNIOR!!!

oh yeah, exit #204. its next to the tacobell, starbucks plaza...

last time i had one of these was like years ago just outside of vegas heading towards the grand canyon. as for a fast food joint, its damn good!

ordered the regular famous burger. this is SUPPOSE to be the size of a junior whopper, or its competitor, but hell no, this thing is huge! and an order of the chilli cheese fries...

good stuff!

on the side note, they opened up a jack in the box right across the border, like 3 minutes past the border right off the highway in the business shopping outlet!

Meowjin 06-07-2009 08:27 PM

^yeah when ever i go down to the monastery i always stop there.

i like the 6 dollar avocado burger.

!SG 06-08-2009 12:01 AM

too much! i saw someone order it, holy fuck! the burgers are huge! i whimped out and got the smallest burger on the menu, the regular famous burger. and im glad i did! im whimping out these days, stomach shrunk, i cant even eat a full subway sandwich anymore!

i skipped the fries, felt good skipping all those carbs... hahaha and drowned my sorrow in diet pop

dark0821 06-08-2009 11:02 AM

wow.. haha.. sound good.. will stop by next time... mm..

WHEYsted 06-25-2009 12:04 PM

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the Whopper at BK? It's so good for a fast food burger and It fills you up fast.
