I have to show them how to cope with their insatiable needs. It's hard for some because they squirt or have uncontrollable multiple orgasms. It's a huge problem for these individuals, because most of the time it leads to promiscuity. Unwanted, but cannot be helped. They don't want to be branded sluts or nymphomaniacs. They really cannot help themselves. Treatment starts with mechanical devices, then it graduates to finding what triggers their libido. It's very complicated. Some of the weirdest things set them off. Cooking, for example. One young woman became triggered with the sounds created by a mixer of all things. Anyway, if any of you are interested in this field, the hardest part is being professional about it and staying professional.
Certification is the toughest part. The process is long and arduous.
The best part of the job (most gratifying) is when I work with married couples who have a hard time with their sexual relationship. You won't believe how many men have fantasies involving role reversal. Anyway, I've said enough already.
If any of you are having any difficulty sexually with your partner, seriously seek sex therapy. Next to financial troubles, intimacy and performance in bed is the biggest cause of break ups. | you're a 50 year old "cool" guy on rs, and a sex therapist? you win my vote of coolest rs member ever man. EVER.

That's impossible, everyone knows Hyde can beat up everyone and their crappy careers. You can only avoid the wrath of Hyde if you hide out at Lansdown.

I'm actually still in school at Capilano University, in the Interactive Design program. I facilitate the user experience when users use a website, and i implement cutting edge designs with the web design trend we adapt to today (communication ie. facebook, collaborative tools on how we now interact with the web, coming from a static to a more dynamic website.)
Businesses are realizing this trend, and this is where we come in.
For my future career, i want to be an Information Architect, the guy who helps organize information (website navigation/elements/content) that makes it best for you guys to use.
think of the redesign on facebook. remember the time where you all hated the redesign, and now, if you think about it, that we're all loving it? this is where WE come in. we helped organize data that makes it more accessible for you guys to use.

after highschool i went to langara, dropped out, had a few mcjobs here and there, went to adult school, joined the army reserves, went to kwantlen for crim, transfered to ubc english dropped out, then transfered to ubc asian studies, dropped out, went to NTNU in taipei for 6 months, transfered back to ubc, dropped out again.
now i'm a part time army guy, full time party guy, and full time day trader, and part time work for a forex company and a commodities brokerage firm. probably get a few of my licenses starting in 2009.
and of course full time brainstorming of businesses i can start up.
i'm never going back to school unless it is something that is signed on paper guaranteed to make me more money than i am now, considering the amount of work i do, to the amount i make ratio.
oh right, i'm basically full time RS "valued participant", as i like to call it haha Quote:

I'm just starting down the path of a welder/ fabricator with LeJeune Performance/ Engineering. ( www.lejeuneracecars.com) We build different types of cars for oval track racing, hot rods, street/ strip machines etc. for the North American market. We also look after custom fabricating for non-automotive related projects for industries ranging from acceissibility/ mobility to geographical surveys etc. I could learn something new here, every day for 20 years, and still not know everything that goes on here. It's awesome. I'll be going back to school for my 'B' welding ticket in the spring.

Ive been working at a foundry since I graduated high school, I mostly work as a grinder, but i also have molding experience. It's been almost 5 years for me at this job. During the last 5 years I tried the whole, crim, business and accounting thing and I absolutely hated it. I did end up getting my ELTT certificate for Automotive Service Technician from Kwantlen and I also have a ELTT certificate for Commercial Transport Mechanic, I plan on getting into the commercial transport trade if I can manage to find a job in this shitty economy.

Real estate development (build multi-unit & single family homes in Richmond). Family business. Degree in Econ from UBC & Building Technology from BCIT.
I'm extremely lucky & fortunate to have a dad who has been in the business for almost 30 years with a good reputation to learn from.
Like others said, do what you like to do, don't get a degree just because your parents tell you to. I ran a custom home theatre business before joining the family company, and got tired of putting up with client's egos (it was on the extreme high-end side of things. Money was great, but life sucked - having to stroke their egos, getting phone calls at all times, taking brunt of anger even if it didn't relate to our job). Money is one thing, but if it's gonna burn you out in 10 years, it's not worth it for me.
There isn't a day where I'm not excited to be at work - even in the most stressful times. Get to create and build homes for clients to live in for the next 25+ years.
That being said, with the market slowdown, I may be on vacation for the next 6-8 months... :P

Rogers Certified Sales Consultant. Basically I just sit there and customers come to me for their cellphone needs w/e it needs. Bills..phones...plan inquires etc. My job is not sales driven...of course there is commission if I activate a phone or do upgrades etc but I'm suppose to gather info from you and recommend you something based on my knowledge of Roger's plans etc. In other words..I'm just a guy that sits there and answers questions and activate your phone.
Graduated from highschool and worked for Mosaic as a seasonal customer service representative aka the guy you bitch to about your problems in store. Then a year later I got myself a job at a Rogers Plus and been working there for about a year now. It has it's ups and downs but its a pretty decent job. Going to school still and working for an engineering degree.

New home sales consultant, as it says on my business cards.
I graduated from high school then went to cap for 2 years in the business finance program. I could have done a transfer to SFU, but I decided to go down the work route instead. So I quit school and I’ve been in development presales ever since. In terms of education for my career, I have my license, parentals guidance (they are in the business), and just self knowledge I’ve gained over the years.
Sometimes I still ask myself if this was a smart choice but deep down I know I made the right decision. Yeah the market sucks balls right now, but I still love my career very much. Yeah I get crazies every once in awhile, but that comes with every job. It’s a good feeling to know you just changed someone’s life with a new home.
Money is (or was) good, and the hours are decent. Noon to 6pm, 5 days a week. Can’t complain.

All this website needs is a good leader/coordinator. There's a lot of people with talent that can make 'revscene' a well known brand. Just look at Jtuned.com.
If anyone is really serious, I have some good ideas that can help relaunch this website into a recognizable brand.

I went to Kwantlen and was enrolled into the Fine Arts program just to complete my prerequisites because I screwed around in high school. Applied for Emily Carr Industrial Design and Communication Design program but only got accepted into Communication Design. I did one year of Comm Design and thought of switching over to Industrial Design. I didn't bother but instead took courses on both fields and also learned a lot of technical skills on my own. After graduation I did my internship at this firm and was quickly hired to become their designer doing CG environments, information design, 2d graphics, and various product design. I thought of moving on to pursue another degree in Transportation Design in Art Center in California but backed out due to the instability of the automotive sector. Perhaps in the future I'll try and go back to school and become a design teacher instead.

I worked at an Engineering firm which developed power solutions for the military / NATO. We pretty much designed and implemented power supply solutions for missiles, unmanned aircrafts, and command centre vehicles.
Currently studying Engineering at SFU.

Getting called to the bar in a handful of months to join the exciting world of being a lawyer.
It's been great so far, been involved in a couple of million dollar cases and have already stood before the Supreme Court of BC in a full trial, which some lawyers I know still haven't had the opportunity to do. Now my goal is to work towards being a partner so I can reap the benefits of taking 30% of the money awarded to clients as our fee!
Did it the regular route BA, LLB.

I'm currently articling at a mid-sized CA firm. Initially went to UBC sciences but that didn't appeal to me, went to langara for a year for the commerce transfer program and graduated from the sauder school of business with a major in accounting. The job is ok so far, it can be dry at times but that is expected until I work my way up a bit. Looking to get my CA then move to an industry that interests me more.

I'm an IT analyst with a large government agency, about 20,000 employees and 500 IT personnel.
I was in the CIS program at UCFV in Abbotsford (now UFV), got in through co-op, and was bridged in after I finished my program. I just did two years with the intention of going back and completing the other two part time, but that never happened, or at least it hasn't yet.

Education: Degrees in economics & accounting, and a CA
work for the biggest of the big 4 in US/cross border tax consultation. Basically allowing big companies to facilitate mergers/acquisitions, reorgs, and many other transactions with the most beneficial tax treatment (no compliance here, its all research, analysis, and recommendations based on the facts provided and the tax law in place)
next, i'm going to get my CPA (just to have some more letters behind my name), my masters in US tax (i get to live in san fran for 6 months whilst i do this), then something else to take up my free time like a CFA - but i'll reassess after each designation/degree
