as far as i can tell its just a standard hrap3 in an alternate colour. it was probably released as a limited run to coincide with the japanese white sony ps3 release.

that white one is from amazon japan...its the same as the regular hrap3...
the hori sf4 stick above is not a hrap3.....the buttons are soldered to the board and its harder to mod if u plan to do that...

interesting, it is based on the hrap3 right? ...it seems that if you buy any joystick that is SF4 related you get screwed. either it sucks, its expensive, or you cant upgrade it.


thats probably all it is, check out amazon.com though... or eb games if they even carry them here. buying from play-asia is good for imported/limited sticks but if you just want a plain jane hrap3 then you will pay more in shipping and exchange.

was looking at the hori fighting stick 3 on play asia since its avail. Would it work for NA ps3s if the stick was for jpn?

i'm probably gonna build my own arcade stick
but that'll be later on, i'm more comfortable with the controller anyways

I have sf3, it came with the anniversary collection but I never play it :). Is gill really that hard?

^lol, he's ridiculous, if you are playing the hardest level, and you make it up to Gill, just turn off the system; its just a waste of time.

It might but why don't u get a US one from Amazon, it should be cheaper.

SF3 Third Strike is my favorite SF, then SFA2 and SSF2T. Gill is a pain in the ass, Seth is a walk in the park compared to him.

They're both equally pain in the asses, but Gill was easier to counter for me.

How do you unlock Gouken??
I chose Ryu to unlock Akuma...then I chose Akuma to complete his arcade mode
then I chose Ryu again and completed two perfects and three ultras with 3 rounds instead of one....
or do you HAVE to do this with one round??

you have to use akuma again, basically you need to beat the game normally with akuma first, then the 2nd time around you need the 2 perfects and 3 ultra's and then you'll unlock gouken.

damn.. after reading some peoples reviews online i was kind of doubting the game, but after picking it up today i've got to say it's fucking amazing

the PS3 version is insanely clear/smooth and i pretty much blew my load watching the full intro, one of the sickest video game intro's ever perhaps

ive got one question, when you have your combo's etc. and it calls for like a double movement with the d-pad etc. how do u execute it?

like say Ryu's Hauiken, to do the normal one it's just like the down-sideways and punch

the supers call for a double "down-sideways" so do u just do it twice and then the punch for the charge?

how many of u installed the game to the HDD?

example

for ryu
fireball = down, down-right, right + punch
super = down, down-right, right, down, down-right, right + punch
ultra = down, down-right, right, down, down-right, right + all punches

anyone having a hard time executing ultras? I usually play ryu and half the time the ultras will come out.
