I picked up the SF4 edition Hori stick (with the SF4 graphics), I think I'm going to order Sanwa buttons for it as well. I'm also going to Japan in a couple weeks, and my friend signed me up for a n00b SF4 tournament (30k BP or under only :D)

is it possible to do the zangief piledriver move and EX without him frickin jumping all the time or am i not spinning it fast enough lol

its the easiest to do it that way
do the motion while in the air and when you land you'll grab your opponent due to priority

It's possible.
Unfortunately in SF4, blockstun is very short (time-wise) so Zangief has a harder time doing his usual SF2 and SF Alpha tick grabs (Light punch or light kick blocked into SPD) so the jumping method is more effective this time around, and Gief has other moves buffed up.

Its easy to do on the 360 pad. You just need to use the shortcut and swing it faster.

the shortcut is to do a half circle from back to forward then upfoward. You actually dont need to do the whole circle motion which makes it much easier.

gg coreyxp. you need to vary cammy a bit. i'm getting pretty good with ken now. sucks how you were probably going to win akuma vs cammy and suddenly when we didn't disconnect, i won with akuma. we'll play next time. ggs

yeah im not sure how to mix it up. Dont even know how to properly fadc into another move lol. Right now just learning with my new stick, seems slower but more precise.
