Yes. Limited selection I think (at Richmond Center)and it was indeed 20% off. Friend picked 1 up and also has this 20% off coupon as well, forgot what his price was but it was roughly $12 more than what I paid but Ice Level was the winner today. APX, T ONE, RS Stealth II, Nexus 1000, RBZ were all $180, 1 day sale though.

Those are good prices, even though I am at the point in my life where I won't pay more than 150 for a twiggy!

Get the 2 pk lens replacements and the hardware separately. It's a much better deal than buying the individual visor with one set of hardware.

They look interesting. Earlier Easton boots fit me the best, but their durability was shit. I'm not sure how good they are now. I'd check the msh forums for a long term review.

Can anyone tell me where I can donate gear? I have a bunch of old gear that's still in very good shape but they are like 8-10 yrs old. So not much value in them. Figured I can donate it to a useful place.

The pro shop inside Langley Sportsplex is able to pass gear onto a program called PUCKS

I guess their skates are similar to their sticks! Great performance, until they break down, which is sooner rather than later.

They're an awesome group of people in the PUCKS program. I played in net for their "alumni" season that just ended, with a family of brothers from Myanmar. We raised money and got them all new gear, and paid entry into minor hockey.

Highly recommended.

Everyone should be able to do it for you. Cyclone Taylor, The hockey Shop, Scoff's.
IIRC, labor would be around $60 for the pair.

Ice Level Sports. Using an ice boot with roller chassis is night and day from those shitty inline boots. So much more support.

On a gear whoring note, Got a Totalone with the Ovie p08 curve.. This thing FIRES. Clappers are effortless, but I have to get used to controlling the wristers, as it is a very open blade.

the floors are so dusty with PICH and VIHL, goalies are still able to slide somewhat, at least with pad covers

Sounds really cool, suprised it took so long for manufacturers to get something like this out. Hated playing goal for inline because it takes soooo much effort vs. ice where its actually fun.

SO true. Played out at Langley the other night for the first time since VIHL ended, and man it felt so weird playing roller again. can feel the wheels under my feet, can't turn as nicely compared to ice, and most importantly, I can't stop.

I had to over tighten my skates to compensate for ankle support because every sharp turn I made it felt as if my boot was just flexing, whereas my ice boot is pretty damn stiff. I think it's time for a new ice skate lol

That's what I did... when I got new ice skates, I converted my old ones to roller.

I have Mission Helium 9500 since they were new(04/05?) for roller and they are just as stiff as my Bauer vapor XXII. Only difference is the Bauer has more comfy insides but the 9500 is one of the stiffest Roller boots I've ever used. BTW, was last night the first time using the T ONE?

Yup, first night using it. Will need some adjustment to prevent future open misses that go into the netting hahaha. The curve is insane on the thing.
