They had to fabricate new headlights and have them officially tested by the government twice. If you're doing that for a couple thousand cars, the price isn't too bad. But because it was a one-off custom job, it'll be more expensive. Plus there's the price of the original car in Japan, labour costs of dismantling it, packing up all the pieces securely, shipping it, unpacking, assembling parts, making sure it all works properly, getting road-worthiness approval, etc., etc. There's a lot more work involved than simply driving a car into a container and shipping it over.

Do your homework before posting, the R34 headlights come stock E-coded, which is compliant with canadian regulations.

Berz out.

no real justification required. if you want the only legal one in BC then be prepared to pay the price.

I remember seeing pictures of this local R34. 1 thing that stood out to me was that it's headlights weren't reflectors, they had projectors in them.

In fact, here they are:

Stop posting BS ricer. R34 was never made as a lhd therefore the lights are aimed the wrong way into our oncoming traffic. This GTR however has spent THOUSANDS just on the headlights alone to get them facing the right away, tested at a lab and certified hence the street legal aspect of it.

This car is street legal as "KIT CAR".
The original owner chopped it into pieces and imported it in.
So there are nothing special about it.
The car was at weissach for consignment but it attracted too much BS interest so they took it off their web site.

whats wrong with surrey? you say it like it's a shit hole. surrey is HUGE.

underscore 08-01-2009 12:12 AM

I'm gonna guess either this thing is really rather sketch under the pretty paint, or at best it was brought in through MotorEx and then brought up here or something.

Oh and Death2Theft, idk where you got that info from, but to me, those headlights just look like regular R34 ones, cut up, with projectors mounted in the holes. That alone seems ghetto enough to make me not want this car. Could they not find something similar to how the Accord lights fit in the R32?

Also this mention of another, white R34, that's actually a really well done R32 with some R34 panelling and such. I would take that over this any day.

Then why do you keep saying "my G"

No hate. I give you props for the work you do on detailing cars. But quit acting all high and mighty with your parent's "G"

And if I wanted to drop names of people who I know that own nice cars, I'm friends with Colin Schuss's son. His Grandfather owns a Mclaren F1.
