It is the real one. You guys need to look at the details of the car. Just because they are all silver, it dont mean that its the conversion one. This one has nismo wheels, widebody front fenders, bumper, and a vented CF hood that is painted. Theres only one R34 that looks like this. Oh yea, and it has the $20,000 DOT SAE approved headlights lool |
38k for this R32-R34 Skyline GTR Conversion Car http://www.mwr34.com/ http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...395171654.html |

The only cars being sezied are Kaizo cars that were imported as shells and drivetrains then registered as "kit cars." |
That guy wants 38 grand for a car from 1989??? |

I love the blog beaking the local R32.4, saying it's all show and no go. Cause R32's are soooo slow after all  |
This thread is funny as hell, shelling out $20,000 for HL's is even funnier! |

Underscore: That is essentially true. Although some cars did have the proper modifications done to make them legal. In the end Motorex (Hiro) began cutting corners and ran into financial troubles. Ajax: Technically yes but Motorex cars are grandfathered in the US. Because owners paid Motorex to convert their vehicles and make them legal (even though the conversions were largely not done correctly) most were granted exception by the DOT and legally own their R32/R33/R34 in the US. Motorex cars are worth much more than gray market cars (CDN cars, lax laws in states like Florida/Utah) because they are completely legal I have always been interested in the fall of Motorex. Tydango on freshalloy.com (owner of GTR blog spot) has been a wealth of info because he worked at Motorex and then started RB Motoring specializing in Skyines. You can learn a lot more on subjectin the Skyline section on freshalloy.com At one time he was considering making a movie about all this! Btw I had a ride in a motorex R34 GTR in Vancouver way back in the day. Probably 7 yrs ago now. At the time it was Bayside blue, Cwest kit, bronze Advan Model 5 19x10 all around owned by a GarageSPL shop owner in Seattle. It is now full Do Luck sponsored and used to tour around HIN in the US. So sick. Riding shotgun down Robson in that was fun lol |
