No hate. I give you props for the work you do on detailing cars. But quit acting all high and mighty with your parent's "G"

And if I wanted to drop names of people who I know that own nice cars, I'm friends with Colin Schuss's son. His Grandfather owns a Mclaren F1.

OH SNAP

I honestly try not make it a habit to say my G...I've actually been trying to say the G most of the time, but when I'm lazy or whatever then it just slips out. I also didn't mention my friend's dad imported an R34 to show boat, I just thought that they bought it from Weissach so I was going to mention to the poster that asked if it's still for sale, but obviously you can't say anything around here without getting flamed

underscore 08-01-2009 10:31 AM

^ it should be the same one, Weissach just had it on sale on behalf of someone else, then they took it off and sold it privately.

the "nuff said" clearly implies you're saying surrey is a shithole. and calling it "slurrey"

Oh hey, haha, Well for one thing, its sketchy.
The frame of the body, was NOT cut in 3 places...therefore, did NOT meat the requirements for a U - BUILD. I dont care who comes on this forum and denies it. Saw it with my own eyes. Secondly, the guy that did the inspection on the R34, passed it as a U-BUILT, and lost his license from ICBC. Thirdly, the guy that first thought that they were really smart in finding the loopholes for bringing in this R34, is now running scared in another country because of this car. The car is so heated out, that the original owner didint even want it no more.

Im not even gonna start on the bodywork....

Weissach wouldn't import it illegally since they are quite a competent company. Marcel, you check this car out yet? I would take this over the new GTR :)

jesus, $179,000!!!!

wow, 170k on what you just described ? thanks for filling us in, info is much appreciated although you're about to get people asking for further details on how you got around to working on it, what shop, etc.....

but if it's exactly as you describe, and I do believe you, then even if I was a multi millionaire, I'd skip this one... and the R34 is my all time favorite car.

Gh0stRider 08-09-2009 07:08 PM

only $179,900

This is my friends dad's R34 GTR. I can confirm this isn't the one bought at Weissach. I know it's the same spec but it wasn't through Weissach and it wasn't $160,000. I can't say how much though but it was less than six figures

Shun Izaki 10-03-2009 11:36 AM

yup, finally got pics of it so I thought i'd share

underscore 10-03-2009 12:36 PM

they made 3... plus you can bring in anything you want if it's only for offroad use, and that car doesn't have a plate on it.

Unless I see legit R34 registration papers and/or VIN I call b/s. even if it is a legit, insurable R34, the owners gotta have more money than brains.
