I don't like Rondo because he plays for the evil team. But give him props for the extra effort shown in last years final series. Is he overrated? Don't really care because he has to get pass d rose. :)

what rondo did the 2009 playoffs against the bulls was spectacular, i dont think even the best point guards could have topped that performance

the only weakness of rondo is shooting, he has big hands but his ball handling, play making, defense makes up for that

if bynum keeps up his play on the defensive end, the lakers will be unstoppable, kobe can average 40% for the playoffs and still get another ring

I wish to see John Wall at his full potential soon. He seems to shoot much better than Rose and can handle ball as well

Okay, you guys hate him because of his attitude/actions/team he plays for, and so do I, but you can't deny how good the guy is...

The guy is good suree.. but a PG avg 10pt and 10ast SHOULD be a normal thing when you play for the celts and all you do is pass pass pass..

I think everyone is "catching" up as to how he operates now... I think the past few games, he's had 2 pts and like 7 ast or something... not great for someone playing for the celts. IMO.. anyone can get 8+ ast playing for that team and not take a shot..

Take today for example.... 0 pts (0-2) and 8 asssts...

Again... I'm not sayin he sucks.. I'm sure he's got talent as he's in the NBA after all but he just doesn't "wow" me

As for the Celts fans here.. I honestly think they are in trouble now (playoff time) especially when they traded Perkins away....

I hate Rondo with a passion, have no respect for the guy after he quoted "Chris Paul will never win an NBA championship" Like wtf is that to say, no one never even heard of Rondo till Garnett&Allen joined the celts, /rant

Rondo is the reason the Lakers won the title last year, Kobe was playing 3 feet off him the entire series daring him to shoot the jumper and he wasn't taking it or capable of doing so. Kobe was free to roam on defence, it also saved his legs for offense without having to chase around Ray Allen which Fisher did a decent enough job. Rondo is also unreliable to ice a game, he can't hit free throws and as a point guard who is the most times the quickest and best ball handler he'll be presented with those chances. Green looked good today for the Celtics scoring 19 points, but with the lack of big man depth both O'neals still out and Davis still recovering from injury they will regret trading away Perk if they meet a team with good bigs Chicago (Noah, Boozer & Gibson) Orlando (Howard&Bass) and LA (Gasol,Bynum and Odom). Lakers and Bulls in the finals this year.

You're right, and I just read 5 minutes ago, Irving might be ready to go for their opener tomorrow although his minutes would be limited. I changed my pick after reading that to put Duke winning it. I think he should be near 100% 2 weeks from now.
