imo, Carter does nothing for Orlando. He isn't anything they don't have as an offensive players who can't play defense. |

Also, wth is Phoenix doing? shaq, then rumour says Stoudemire and Nash? WOW.... they were so close to the championship a couple years ago when they had Marion/nash/bell/barbosa/stoudemire/hill, why they didn't add a centre at that time still bothers me lol I guess if they trade Nash/Stoudemire as well for no names or expiring contracts, they can go for a big fish come 2010. |

Artest verbally agreed to sign with the Lakers! but that means they probably won't resign Ariza since he's not happy with the mid-level salary of $5.6m the Lakers offered him. Odom will probably be resigned though. |
I heard Lebron flew to LA to since the Cavs are interested in Artest...He would be a great fit for the Cavs...and he'd fit great in LA to.....he's a great player...little on the crazy side, but his basketball speaks for itself. If Artest goes to LA - Cavs should snatch up Ariza. What you guys think of Gordan and Charlie V going to Pistons...I think decent move.. |
LOL, I wonder if Bryant and Artest will get into an argument and brawl. |

^^i wish they will get into brawls man. I just can't imagine they can co-exist. |
I hate to say it - but I think they will be fine... Celtics rumoured to have been talking to R. Wallace...WOW.. |
Man, Yao better somehow miraculously be able to play next season :( |

Ron ron to the lakers is dope, too bad we couldnt keep ariza. I would have liked it if we could have had the exact same team but ron ron will work. Looks like another championship to the lake show  |
Fisher/Kobe/Artest/Gasol/Bynum..... Odom as 6th man?? oooooooh baby..although I do hope that we get another decent center.. And looks like Ariza signed on with the Rockets!!!! bye Ariza! it was a good season! =) Also.. Good on the Bulls for getting rid of Gordon.. they ain't goin anywhere with him so get rid of his fat contract. |
wats happening to my man AI  Bobcats or grizziles, neither team is looking good for him. Perhaps he should really retire :( |
Turkoglu is going to sign with Toronto now. wonder how this will alter Bosh's decision on whether to stay in Toronto. They still need to make a lot of moves to make the team better and increase their chances of resigning Bosh next season. AI's chances of going to a good team and looking for the money he wants are going to be grim. As for Detroit coming to contract agreements with Gordon and Charlie V in principle, I don't think either of them deserve the money they're going to get. Gordon will reportedly get a 5yr $55m-$60m deal and Charlie V a 5yr $40m deal. The start of this off-season is crazy. I wonder what it'll be like next year... |
RUBIO IS SUCH A BITCH |
The signing of Turks to the Raps will have absolutely NO chance of getting Bosh signed again, unless Colangelo sweets talk the hell out of him.. AI is still fairly young so I'm sure he can still get decent money but who will is the question. Would love to see him in Philadelphia agian though, the fans love him there and respect him. Imagine the lines of PG-Allen Iverson SG-Andre Iguodala SF-Thadeous Young PF-Elton Brand C-Samuel Dalembert |
http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/...vs_2_85300.jpg The Cleveland Cavaliers and forward Anderson Varejao have agreed to a multi-year contract, the team announced Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that it is for six years and could be worth as much as $50 million. The paper also reported guard Anthony Parker could be signing a contract within the next few days. Varejao averaged a career-high 8.6 points last year while also averaging 7.2 rebounds over 81 games, which included 42 starts. Over five seasons in the NBA, all with Cleveland, he has averaged 6.6 points and 6.5 rebounds over 312 games. "We are very happy to announce that we have agreed to a multi-year contract with Anderson," Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry said. "From the start of free agency, Anderson made it clear he wanted to be a part of our future and that he loved being in Cleveland. For us, we have been one of the better teams in the NBA the past four years. Andy has played an important role with our team during that time and continuity is important to us. He brings many valued contributions to our team on and off the court and plays with relentless passion and energy every play. He is an elite defender and we want to continue building our strong defensive identity." In 60 playoff games over the last four seasons with the Cavs, Varejao has averaged 6.0 points and 5.6 boards. Parker, 34, has spent the past three seasons in Toronto and in the 2008-09 campaign he averaged 10.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists over 80 games. For his career, which has also included stops with Philadelphia and Orlando, he has averaged 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists over 290 contests. http://tsn.ca/nba/story/?id=284188 |
