I agree with Lakers in 5 as well especially with the way they're playing. As long as the Lakers can contain Dwight in the post without having to double team him and leaving Orlando's shooters open for shots, then I don't see the Magic causing the Lakers too many problems. They haven't proved that they can hit contested 3's over and over again and sooner or later Orlando is going to die by the 3 just as they've been living by it to get to this point.
If Phil decides to start Bynum and Gasol in the front court it'll still be alright since they can exploit their size advantage on offense at the beginning of the game to impose their will and Odom can provide the spark off the bench. Odom will still play more minutes towards the end of the game anyway so starting Bynum won't be a big problem at all.

I agree with the advantage but who is Gasol going to guard? Unless they play Zone, He can't guard Lewis...

I prefer the Gasol then Bynum because if Howard gets his rest, put it Bynum and we'll have the advantage on the post against their backup center which is Vortag or whatever lol..Bynum is my 2nd favorite player from the lakers but right now, he isn't playing great so off the bench makes more sense to me anyway.

Either way, I'm stoked and can't wait till thursday.

u guys do know they are one of the top defensive teams, and you are all witness to their offense, if Jameer wasn't injured ( reports say hes game ready ), i'd have to bet on the Magic, they swept the Lakers in the regular season, the Magic can erase 20 pt deficits like it's nothing and the Lakers defense is not intimidating to say the least, not to mention their mental lapses

Odom would be able to post up Lewis, but most people forget that hes basically 7 foot. It'll create a key matchup that both sides of the floor will take advantage of. Rashard will trade in 3's for 2's any day.

u forgot that Odom is a sugar fiend, and he might crash hard, he's most likely will be outplayed by Orlando's 4th option

I hope phil jackson's game plan is to let dwight try to beat us by himself. Play him straight up, rather than double teaming him leading to a kickout for a 3..that's what happened to the cavs series so I hope they play them differently...

Lakers has a deeper bench, hungrier team. They failed to get the rings last year and I guarantee that they will not let it happen this time around especially against the magics....it's kobe time..

yea we can live with Dwight getting the majority of the shots as long as they're not all dunks. foul him if it's going to be an easy 2 and make him earn it at the line. a lot of fouls can be spared on Dwight. letting him go one on one will negate the Magic's ability to shoot the kickout 3s they've been living by. Lakers have to watch for the fast break 3s by getting back on defense.

Kobe's not going to let this opportunity slip away. he and the lakers tasted defeat last year. i believe that in this series they are going to give it their all by executing on offense and defense and have that drive to win it.
