That looks good. How's the online for pc version of this game?

Ill be picking it up for the ps3 tmw

G-spec 10-02-2012 10:26 PM

there's quite a few things missing from the PC version, it's why it's $30 compared to console versions of $60
online basically sucks, you only have quick game option, and it's laggy and choppy...

i dont play online, full of cheesers, like today I played my first and probably last online game for 2k13... was killing this guy by 15 the whole game playing an NBA style game, pick and roll hitting the open man, taking advantage proper places.... while on the other hand he kept his finger on the turbo button the whole game running around trying to fastbreak and attack the rim senselessly

then all of the sudden he starts bombing 3's and hits like 6 in a row, and that's it game over... the game online is coded in a strange way, very rare to get a proper run

Porschedog 10-02-2012 10:41 PM

Ughhhh I pre ordered the game and Future Shop didnt deliver it today. =/

Vale46Rossi 10-03-2012 12:38 AM

I picked up one and realized there was a Limited edition one....

now i m returning mine for the limited one... fucking cant play argh.

411ken 10-03-2012 09:16 AM

What does the limited one have? I think the 2k10 had the locker abd kobe feature

Ya. Online can be a pain at times but if I get into a good sim game with someone its fng great so I Jus add him as a ps3 friend if he wants to play.

Playing CPU is ok but I tend to get bored quicker LOL. I wanna try the career tho and see of I can get my coach fired lol

Any ps3 guys here who wants to play a real style ball game?

I couldn't wait to get home from work, almost left early, lol....
fuck consoles, got it bumpin on a killer gaming PC I just built hooked up to my 60" led, with 1920x1080p, maximum antialiasing on other graphical tweaks, ya I know shitty phone pic can't really see the quality but it's SOOOOOOO much better than Xbox & PS3...
not to mention that crazy mods those guys come up with that make the game even better

Post up impressions ?
mine so far game is more realistic than last years, just from playing one game this is already extremely impressive.... Blake Griffin plays like Blake, Tony Parker plays like Tony, Ginobili plays like himself...... basically each player feels like they do in real life, this is unprecedented in a basketball game.... they've promised that few times before, but this time it's really fckin true.... Parker killed me with penetration and floaters, Ginobili with his crafty play, Timmy D was chillin in the cut killin me softly.... But I beasted with CP3 and Blake

not sure if that's the TV or the game but that pic you took makes the game look amazing

bballguy 10-03-2012 02:15 PM

The NBA will penalize players who flop during games this season.
The penalties won't be handed out during games, but will instead be reviewed on video by an independent party. The fine schedule for flopping is as follows: Violation 1 is a warning, violation 2 is a $5,000 fine, violation 3 is $10,000, violation 4 is $15,000 and violation 5 is a whopping $30,000 fine. Any player violating the anti-flopping rule six times or more will be subject to further discipline, so guys like Blake Griffin, Manu Ginobili, Anderson Varejao and several others will have to change their ways or prepare to get the check book out.

G-spec 10-03-2012 08:05 PM

It`s about time they implemented some kind of anti flopping initiative, shit was getting ridiculous.
I understand the concept of flopping though, most guys do it for a simple reason, it`s basically let`s say I`m playing against a guy who`s abusing me all game long, I`m not getting calls.... so soon I just might over exaggerate the contact next time it happens to get the referee`s attention. Even this is somewhat understandable, but still shouldn`t be allowed, in my opinion if a guy is abusing you, I would rather flagrant the shit out of him as opposed to flopping like a bitch.
but then you got assholes who do it just because they`re assholes... like Varejao

GLOW yea pic is a shitty phone pic even if you click on it to see the full pic, still blurry but yea I got all my video card Nvidia settings on super high quality, it looks ridiculous, way better looking than consoles

Ironically, Fish is a known flopper lol.

bballguy 10-03-2012 10:40 PM

Fisher has single-handedly ended team's season's via flopping (skip to 7:04):

Ignore the biased commentators doe...

that's high level flopping. fall back on your own, hold the guys shoulder as you fall so he falls on top of you...then stay down on the ground like a wounded animal...i watched the video with the volume turned off

wasabisashimi 10-04-2012 09:45 AM

^ Lebron was fouled 100%, but he flopped while going down making it looking flagrant. Bosh's flop deserves more than 30,000$ fine, lol

bballguy 10-04-2012 01:12 PM

Flopping to sell a foul that indeed was a foul....I don't find anything wrong with that...some things the ref simply don't notice, and their's only one way to make them notice.

Flops should only be considered punishable, imo, when they are done when the player isn't actually fouled at all....

No I thought I was missing something. That display probably stretched about 50 feet from the police station to the video end on Venice Beach.
