Right, but that's because they stop giving a fuck.....they walk through these games....prime example is the previous game where Kobe decided to go off in the 4th quarter....If they really wanted to, they could be beating most of these teams the same way they did Nigeria...

i'm hoping with nash back there with him it'll be a good pairing like the dallas days with scorers like van exel or finley or in phx with JJ

Nlkko 08-11-2012 09:05 AM

Let me see, Nash running pick and roll with Howard, Gasol pick and pop from mid range with Bryant firing off fade-away elbow's J. How exactly do you defend that. LA will crush other teams offensively.

And they just got 10x better defensively. Not the best but definitely much improved with Howard patrolling the paint and chasing down blocking transition layups.

I hope Artest stay with the fire he caught late last season.

Starting lineup:
Nash
Bryant
Artest
Gasol
Howard

Bench
Meeks
Blake
Goudelock
Jamison
Hill

I'm stoked! BRB subscribing for league access.

Vs.

Best lineup:
Dwyane Wade
Ray Allen
LeBron James
Rashard Lewis (I still think he's got it - He's only 33...)
Chris Bosh

Bench
Chalmers
Battier
Cole
Miller
Haslem
Jones
Anthony

Definitely some mismatches going both ways, but with each team having that much talent, it's really a toss-up - in my my mind anyway...

Please tell me you are joking. You want to talk about 3 point shooting then it's either between Durant or Carmelo anthony. But I'd have to say Durant. And as for the best player in the paint, it's Lebron.

Yes they do have weaknesses since they usually have a slow start. But, once they get there mojo, then they start to heat up.

^watches 2 games of Olympic basketball; knows everything about every player.

I never said the best 3 point shooter in the league. I was referring to the best 3 point shooter on the USA team genius. If you want best three pointer in the league then obv it's a toss up between steve nash and ray allen. Although I am leaning more toward allen.

MR_BIGGS 08-11-2012 10:24 AM

I don't follow basketball nearly as much as I use to but Melo isn't one of the best three point shooters in the game.

I'd put these guys ahead of him, Ray Allen, Ryan Anderson, Kevin Durant, Kyle Korver and Steve Nash.

Kevin Love is without a doubt a better spot up 3 point shooter than Carmelo Anthony....Melo hit 1.2 per game at 33% while Love hit 2 per game at 37%....You can definitely make an argument for Love and Durant...Though Love is far more impressive as he's a PF shooting 3's while being 2nd in the league in rebounding....

That said, best 3 point shooters in the league would be someone between guys like Steve Novak, Ray Allen, Steph Curry, Ryan Anderson, Kyle Korver, JJ Reddick, etc...

Mike Oxbig 08-11-2012 12:36 PM

how about chris bosh shooting 3's? :troll:

Sir_Loin 08-12-2012 10:56 AM

Horrible calls both ways put guys in foul trouble, Marc Gasol with his 4th foul in the second dumb move by Spain's coach.

bnguyen220 08-12-2012 11:56 AM

the awkward moment when reporter ask durant how does the chemistry come together between him and Lebron when Lebron took his NBA tittle chance away from him

Craig Sager not only does he wear stupid coloured suits, but he asks the dumbest questions to coaches during the game.

http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg140/sca...=640&ysize=640

Kobe and Durant's face when Sager asked Lebron about winning MVP, NBA Finals and Gold.

G-spec 08-12-2012 07:17 PM

lol, ya man he asks typically dumb questions thought I think they are written by the people behind the scenes for him...
but I was pretty fuckin choked not just about the Durant question, but the one he posed for LeBron right before...
then LeBron fckin sidestepped that minefield of question and gave quite possibly the most beautiful and brilliant answer he's ever given....

he said "It ain't about me, it's all about whats on my chest... USA"

anyone catch the brofest between Kobe and Gasol after the game, they dry humped twice, right after the game and then a few minutes after that..... no doubt just giggling like school girls about their upcoming season!
