For those posting mileage, you have to fill up. Set trip odometer to zero. Then the next time you fill, you list the litres used, along with what your trip odometer says. It's pointless to say things like "200+ kms on half full 40l tank". Quote:

^ tats wat i usually do i usually get 450km-500km from full to empty, before the light comes on tho |
my freakin EK needs a good tune lol.. lowest i've recorded is 8.9L/100km from a 1.6L! |
Quote:
dohc 1.6L on 4.3 ratio. lol i save more gas doing city driving then highway. summer 13.37 km / L | 575km / 43L tank winter (with lots of idling) 11.9 km / L | 511.7 / 43L tank :haha: |

yeah that's something i haven't replaced in a few years. i should grab one just for the hell of it. |
2000 Civic Sir 45L tank the best so far is 8.9L/100KM if i drive hard it 'd be 10L/100KM someday i'll try 100% hwy & easy on the gas |
2002 Honda Civic Sedan, 40L - 400km-450km. I usually fill up before the light goes off, so there could be fluctuation. All estimates anyways. |
^ you should record the amount you fill up with along with the distance travelled. then, calculate the numbers. |
I drove my GF's EK i got 300km-30L |
10L/100km?? if it's a stock d16a6/y7/y8 there's either something wrong or your shit-kicked it for that 300km :haha: |
i have a month new 2009 civic sport and we barely, just barley get 380-400km for a full tank, which is about 50L tank. is this okay for a new car? it's automatic transmission, and we drove it during cold cold weathers which might take more fuel for engine to warm up, and with all the heating it's doing. any input? also, pretty much 95% city driving and i can only think of knight street bridge guzzling the gas away as that freeway seems to eat gas. is this normal? thanks. I also have an 09 Civic, LX-SR coupe automatic and I just barely get 350=170 KMS to a 50 L tank of 100% city driving. My car has 2300 kms. Is this normal? About how many kms do you need on your car before you pass the "break-in" point? |

damn tats pretty bad milleage for a new civic about 5000kms to break in |
I get about 375kms for every 50 litre tank when the light goes on. Not so good but its all city driving. |
wat car |
S2000. When I fill up i usually have 5 litres to go so its realistically 375kms for 45 litres. |
I get 450km/40L now with the turbo on. Berz out. |

what are you running? b20vtec with boost or something? oh annnd.. 88 Prelude SI averaging about 10L/100k right now used to get around 600-650 on 52 liters |
has anyone re-calculated their fuel economy now that chevron has up to 10% ethanol in their regular gas? so far i've had inconsistent numbers from 7.0L-7.99L/100km. before, it was as low as 6.54L/100km. :( |
Quote:
btw it's not chevron specific.. every station I've been to in the city is displaying the "may contain up to 10% ethanol" sign |
