I like this rule, keeps the forum more organized.

That thread I replied to last night was on the top of the list in the forum...I did not see the STOP POSTING! POINTS! thread you guys made so I got points.. fair enough.. But its kind of naive to believe people will actually see this if its not on the top....Perhaps you can sticky it or put READ BEFORE POSTING to get attention.... Won't get everyone's attention but it will definately be a lot more visible then if its in the middle somewhere.

Better yet, get SG! to issue a PM to everyone on the forum regarding the changes to the buy&sell forum?

only thing thats not so awesome is amount of misleading information/advertisement that will not get filtered out now, just like craiglist. way too much BS that is allowed to live in their forums because nobody can speak up in the thread, and there is never enough mods, or time for them to go thru every thread that is full of shite. the b/s on craigslist looks worse than my junkmail folder some days. i guess there's really no altrenative tho, kinda shitty either way.

then report the thread to a mod or PM the seller to change to a reasonable price

I have been a member of this site since 2001 and I guess things have changed. I thought the whole purpose of a forum is for public knowledge, should apply to B&S as well. I would understand about people abusing posts with nonsense but stuff that actually apply to the topic or sale of the item should be let through. There should be a medium because if I have a question about an item or an offer, it would be helpful for others interested in the item as well because they would probably have the same questions. Plus couldn't the OP have the ability to manage their own thread?

I had to re-read that rule post like three times to find it. Should be more clear honestly...feels lost in there.
