I think she'll do well in WWE with HHH in charge. He isn't the best booker, but he's not a fucking weirdo like Vince. Seems like he is willing to give people proper gimmicks and feuds no matter what race or gender they are. Kairi and Io had a great partnership in NXT that was leading to a turn before Kairi got called up (and they replaced her with Candace and it was meh). I guess they can start over now lol

her KAIRI gimmick was fucking awesome, her match with Mayu last year was awesome, and the match with Mercedes was a great showing.

Had Mercedes didn't join NJPW/Stardom, I think she could have ran with the IWGP belt.

Maybe.. The original intent of that belt was to have women on touring NJPW shows in US and Europe, but Stardom made the belt and booked it, so for whatever reason it didn't work out. So NJPW made a second belt of their own, booked by them, put it on Giulia and she's the one doing all the US shows. They've even taken her off Stardom shows she was announced for and put her on US NJPW shows.

It's a weird situation that nobody talks about, since the Stardom source is directly connected to Rossy and you won't hear anything out of there that makes him look bad.

YEs it has been GREAT. It has changed AEW TV quite a bit, where most of the story telling takes place in the ring. I am curious to see what they'll do once it's over. Actually I'd like them to do a women's version too, especially once Jamie Hayter comes back, Yuka Sakazaki, etc.

Wrestle Kingdom was a great show top to bottom. Shorter matches this year, but still top tier in quality!

In terms of pop, Naito BY FAR had the biggest only followed by Ospreay.

I watched the last 2 matches and both were tremendous. Sanada worked his ass off and literally carried Naito to a great match. The fans and atmosphere made it even better. And the role call at the end! Naito is a god to these fans

That roll call. Was arguably one of the greatest moments of going to a a wrestling show.
Also screaming YES YES YES with 27k ppl in unison was cool

The Tokyo dome has this magic pixie dust in the air for great matches.
I will say tho. The length of matches were definitely shorter this year.

Interesting discussion today with someone who took their young children to the wwe show but will not do the same for AEW as it’s a bit more adult.

I would say WWE is more childish than AEW is adultish, except the PPVs. Those are definitely more adult than a TV taping because they'll have hardcore matches.. Even some TV will lol. I'd take young kids to both though, kids absolutely love AEW when you see them there.

WWE is doing blood now with HHH in charge, well fake blood anyway. 2 Raws in a row they had Becky and Nakamura bite a blood capsule. Once Smackdown is on cable I can see them doing it there too. If Raw moves to Amazon I wonder if they'd bring back actual blood?

Normally i wouldn't order NJPW America ppvs as i find them not very good, but 2nd year in a row, the San Jose show card is an absolute banger...
