Not a pot fan myself but I don't really mind its legalization. Apart from an increased amount of potheads, I don't really see it's legalization as a huge detriment to society in comparison to the other drugs like say.... crack.

You guys are both douches and need to STFU and stop arguing.

12 points each, and FiveDime, that means a 7-day ban for 5 infractions.

Stop fucking clogging up threads with your bickering. You remind me of the 12-year old kids I tutor.

Are you talking Viets? My Asian friends always tell me Viet restaurant owners are drug dealers.

I know this is probably completely racist, I'm just saying I've heard this before, not that I believe it.

Survey Says: legalizing pot would reduce violence

5/1/2009

An Angus Reid poll out this morning suggests British Columbians believe legalizing marijuana will reduce the criminal violence associated with the drug trade.

Nearly two-thirds of the 822 adults responding to an on-line survey would choose to legalize marijuana in order to reduce violence, while only 35 per cent believe increased penalties for marijuana trafficking is the answer.

Green Party and NDP supporters are most likely to support the legalization of marijuana.

Actually, I do. And generally speaking 822 is a low-yet-mildly-reasonable number IF the polling was done proportionally across the province without screening demographics.

Which probably happened.

Also, you should see some of the questions pollsters ask. Fucking crazily leaning shit.
