Not a pot fan myself but I don't really mind its legalization. Apart from an increased amount of potheads, I don't really see it's legalization as a huge detriment to society in comparison to the other drugs like say.... crack.

An Angus Reid poll out this morning suggests British Columbians believe legalizing marijuana will reduce the criminal violence associated with the drug trade.
Nearly two-thirds of the 822 adults responding to an on-line survey would choose to legalize marijuana in order to reduce violence, while only 35 per cent believe increased penalties for marijuana trafficking is the answer.
Green Party and NDP supporters are most likely to support the legalization of marijuana.
