Disagreed as well. The SLR was a true supercar. It was way ahead of its time, and the price was well above what most people could afford. It, along with cars like the Carrera GT will always stand out.
I don't know if the SLS is faster/superior but aside from the gull-wings it doesn't seem that special. Plus the $225,000 price tag is far, far less than the $400K MSRP of the SLR when new, in 2004 dollars.

Is it just me or do you find it appaling that someone would modify such a classic/rare car like the SLR 722s?

It's not just you. I didn't much enjoy what they did to the Reventon a few years back either.

I disagree, I think the car looks amazing now. Plus, it's just vinyl wrap and rims, so pretty easy to make it stock again.

i saw this thing on a flatbed wrapped with some sort of sheet but it was so distinctive and it had the same rims.

This is one of the best sick cars pages I've ever seen. My problem with this escort is that 19900 price tag. you could probably convert a normal escort for less and put your troll face on.

Also, nothing compared to the cars in this page but still sick and will always be a classic.
