Incorrect. There's already a couple here in Alberta so I don't know where you're getting the info that it's the only one in Canada.

DjMZ 05-15-2012 05:06 PM

^ it WAS the only one in canda but a while ago

Dafuq? a 1993 USDM Escort:

1993 UK spec Ford Escort RS Cosworth:

How on Earth do you even convert them!? :failed: None of the platforms interchange, none of the sheet metal is shared.

It's easier to do a Merkur XR4Ti to Ford XR4Ti Cosworth...

Love the 599.

 :ratedb:

Did you get a GOOD look at it? I'm willing to bet you saw that factory five GTM. I see that car cruising around almost every time I'm in white rock or langley. Anddd as far as I know, s7's cannot be brought into Canada.

this is the factory five gtm that's around here...

DjMZ 05-16-2012 07:43 PM

Looks like a Mitsuoka? They re-body production cars and sell them. I guess you could call them coachbuilders but really, they're just new front ends...

Maybe the Mitsuoka Ray, based off a late 90's Nissan Micra??

So spotted two black Kia's with Ontario dealer plates cruising behind me up Cambie St last night. I believe it was the 2013 Cadenza but not sure. The thing that was sick was the headlamps which were LED similar to the A7. I have to admit the car looked pretty nutty from the front end.

haven't seen that yet but to me even the current optima looks good already. saw it on the road and mistook it for an expensive euro. did a double take.

This car?

Too bad they copied too much from 7 Series..

I don't understand why they are doing it when they are capable of coming up with good looking original design.

I have a 750i...no wonder the guys wouldn't pass me haha. But that's the car, the front looked good with all the lights.
