^ no offense, but just curious why so many of your photo sets are washed out/low contrast? Is there a technical reason behind it (e.g. lower noise in dark environments maybe, I'm not too familiar with advanced photography)?

Everyone has a different style.

I love how his pictures look. I need to experiment with it further...

EDIT: And there is a lot more that goes into that besides low contrast, I think more commonly its known as cinematic styling, but even that alludes to much more than just washing out pictures, or colour shifts.

After quite a bit of head scratching, eventually they managed to get it started.

Always good to invest in a battery tender especially if you have a exotic car which sits around in the garage for months.

Always good if you have a california get a tow truck to tow it to the junkyard where it belongs. Seriously the most hideous modern ferrari in existence.

Lol. Agreed.
Although I have to admit the facelift model looks pretty good. Also, twinturbo V8 :megusta:

I never understood what made the designers think that the new California design is Ferrari material. Especially when the original 62' Cali looked so fucking perfect. The redesigned 2015 looks so much better.

Let's not forget the ugliest Ferrari of them all, the FF;

Was this car purchased through SR? Or did SR just slap their license frame on?

1exotic 05-27-2014 09:18 AM

It was purchased through SR

Z3guy 05-27-2014 09:21 AM

^ that gurantees he paid way too much and got stroked.

westopher 05-27-2014 09:41 AM

The #s circulating here were that he paid 500k over msrp. Not sure if its true, but I'm sure it doesn't matter to him.

tofu1413 05-27-2014 12:34 PM

Wow.. the P1 is more compact than I thought it'd be.

same size a Mp4-12C! amazing how they packaged all that tech in a car that size

Shark Tank 05-27-2014 01:05 PM

Exactly what I would do if I had a hypercar cruise down Robson. Every single head is cranked rubbernecking to stare at that car. What a fucking ego stroke, knowing you could pick up any chick with that car

trollguy 05-27-2014 01:23 PM

Well, actually if you look at those pics, I only see one person looking at it.

Except most people have no clue what it is, they don't care that you have the only one available, and they think you're stupid for paying an extra $500k just to be "first"

So SR bought it from Mclaren and then they sold it to the current owner?:suspicious:

SR will locate and negotiate for hard to get cars for people.

That doesnt mean that the ownership has to pass through them.

So SR probably never "Owned" the vehicle, but they helped the customer get the car for a certain fee.

white rocket 05-27-2014 08:10 PM

edit: ^^yeah, basically that.

Perhaps SR brokered the deal. The client could have been theirs to begin with and they ordered the car. If the owner is willing to spend $500k extra to be the "first" I'm sure a little middle man mark-up isn't a problem.

Harvey Specter 05-27-2014 08:16 PM

I was reading the comments on the p1 owners IG and according to someone who posted in his the comment section he's going to be ordering a Bugatti vitesse.
