Are there any other Dinan 4.6's in town? If not, then I may have been driving behind you on Cambie yesterday. Black cab, right?

Z3guy 09-24-2014 01:07 PM

Yep, probably was me! I think I have the only 4.6 cab in Canada.......

TheStig 09-24-2014 04:51 PM

Was just reading up on the S3-R, man that thing must be beastly, well done!

boostfever 09-24-2014 05:28 PM

@Z3guy, is it supercharged? think I actually saw you a few months ago on Pacific and we chatted a bit at a redlight. :) nice car.

Z3guy 09-24-2014 09:33 PM

^ boost fever, the e46 s3rs were supercharged, I have a e93 s3r. No sc, stroked engine from 4.0l to 4.6l With throttle bodies, and full race exhaust it supposed to make 527hp and 406lbs The car is pretty heavy so the extra torque makes it drive so much better! Allot more responsive than my previous e60 m5

Agree.
Human nature dictates everyone would gladly accept there parents hand outs. Most of us who can't afford the rich lifestyle also get jealous when we see the privileged flaunting there wealth. Like when I'm stopped next to a supercar at a red light and look over and see its a young teen its a mix of intense jealousy/envy. I think in my mind what if the roles were reversed and I was driving that supercar.

That's the problem, most of them are. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think anyone should brag about anything that they don't own (bank)/didn't buy for themselves (mom and dad).

Z3guy 09-25-2014 11:48 AM

^ I agree with you underscore, but unfortunately, young hot chicks don't care who powers these rich spoiled kids......boys will be flaunting, if hot chicks are coming......

Lets get this thread back to the pictures of sick cars.

A couple weeks ago I got the opportunity to test drive and review this car. The review is available on my website or just wait a bit and it'll soon be up on the front page of Revscene.

Bragging about anything, even if you bought it yourself, is pretty pathetic.

But were all guilty of it, in some form or another, even if it wasn't your intention, you've bragged about something to someone else. It's human nature, especially given the society we live in where money comes above all else.

+1 sporting the Techart kit :fuckyea:

Only thing I don't like seeing is the owner parking it freely on the street.
Just can't trust people especially after that incident in Coquitlam where Korean guy went crazy and keyed 100's of cars.

Alby 09-26-2014 10:01 AM

where else are you going to park it if that is not your house :suspicious:

westopher 09-26-2014 10:37 AM

I love the dude with the white GT3 down on point grey that parks outside everyday. Gives me something to drool over.

Haha, Buddy guy living right on the waterfront in west van does the same thing.

I always passed by and was like why the fuck doesn't this guy park his 458 in the two car garage right beside where he is parked. One day I go past and the garage door is open, he had an e-type jag, and an older ferrari of some vintage tucked away.

murd0c 09-26-2014 11:58 AM

I swear we need a separate spotted thread for porches since it seems like that's all that's being posted and talked about these days... Not only that it will keep Sharktank out of this one...

Harvey Specter 09-26-2014 12:15 PM

I swear I spotted a GT3 with a similar colour as the Porsche above a couple weeks ago near Pacrim. It was a old white guy driving and it had a BC plate that started with "997".

Wouldn't drive it unless I can securely park it in a car garage or secured underground parking. Realistically, I wouldn't be using it as a daily probably just a weekend cruiser/track rat and then have a X5M SUV for my daily.

Heard my friend say one of his rich buddy get targeted because he is young driving flashy car by vandals whenever he park in Vancouver. Just paranoid especially when you pay over 100K for a car. Not worth the risk
