Classic spotting on Sunday adventures.

^ Pretty sure that's an early 50's (50-53) 5-window Chevy pickup. The addition of the two curved pieces of glass in the rear pillars makes it rare. Or, rather, desirable. Not sure if people cut up 3-window trucks to make them 5-window or not.

Fail for posting his own car, or thank him for buying a E63 wagon, and having a friend cool enough to buy one as well...

Anyone who has the money to afford a brand new $75k MB should get a thanks just off principle.

Double thanks that he post pics for us who can marvel & appreciate flawless German engineering.

That E63 is probably $130k.

I'm also guessing that his parents bought it for him.....

Refers to wagons as "housewifes errand mobile" on one page, then "flawless German engineering" on the next...:suspicious:

Could of swore I saw Jeremy Clarkson in a silver brand new Porsche 4s cabriolet or whatever it is. On the corner of oak and broadway at 6pm. Most likely wrong tho. /imagination caps off.

Well, Top Gear is supposedly filming here in November. Maybe Clarkson is just a little early?

Traded the R8 in for a 458? :concentrate:

Shark Tank 10-07-2014 08:33 PM

The more I see the Huracan the more I actually like it. It's going to give 458 a serious run for its money. Both similar size and while the Aventador matches with the 599GTO I think the Huracan is 458's direct challenger!

Yeah, Lamborghini may have an edge, for now, in terms of the Huracan's performance and style compared to the 458. Ferrari isn't gonna let Lambo get all the limelight.

The 458 replacement will have a turbocharged V8. The Bull isn't gonna bully the Prancing Horse.

Not sure how I feel about Ferrari going to turbocharging- it's not going to be anything like the 288GTO or F40 to be sure. I'm not entirely optimistic about the V8TT in the 458 successor after driving the CaliforniaT... it's the only reason I jumped into a 458 today, as opposed to waiting for the new model to drop.

Not in Van! But saw some sick cars while I was in Geneva.

Nice Mulsanne :derp::troll:

originalhypa 10-08-2014 10:17 AM

I like the foreign spottings, especially with winter coming.
It's so nice in Geneva. What a luxorious city.

FYI: We see no Mulsanne

Lomac 10-08-2014 10:24 AM

I love Geneva. Had such a nice time when I was there. Definitely didn't see too many exotics, though. Mind you, it was March and was snowing pretty much everywhere else at the time... lol

egzonsh7 10-08-2014 10:57 AM

Thanks! I had a great day there. So many bentleys and ferraris mostly in Geneva.
I did not see anyone under the age of 30 drive a super/luxurious car in Switzerland. In van so diff

Btw I did post the white mulsanne pic

That was bad timing. Switzerland has a very high ratio of nice cars on road. I've been to Zurich before and spotted lots of nice cars. Nothing too crazy though...
