This LaFerrari is sick!

In my opinion, the LaFerrari is the best looking new supercar to hit the market. I'm not a huge fan of McLaren's new design direction, nor do I particularly fancy the 918's understated styling or Lamborghini's overstated styling. The LaFerrari just works for me.

Wow.
A pair of game changers right there.

I'm partially stiff right now, along with 3/4 of revscene's male population.

The Pagani was on display outside the Shangri-La Keg last night. The car is a work of art.

Just met a guy who got to ride in the Pagani Huarya and LaFerrari last night. He was driving a minty 280Z himself which caught my eye so we had a short chat...

Then I got in my Fit and drove away :okay:

Saving grace is that he also showed me pics of his Fit, which is one of his dailies along with a Cayman S. Apparently he owns 7 cars and is aiming for 9, one for each of his godchildren.

Cool dude to run into in a Safeway parking lot!

Saw it driving down 4th 2 days ago. I don't care about the hate or hype dying off on the rwb porsches, they are so fucking awesome.

Maybe the owner of a Midas should pick it up? Would be a SERIOUS missed opportunity in terms of publicity.

Personally I think out of the ones around here, this is the one I'd have. I love the yellow/black colour combo. I'd say I like RWBs in general and I wouldn't call myself a purist, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of how more and more people are cutting good cars up just to have one (or more) of their own. This is the best of both worlds in my eyes, you buy a RWB and another 993 can live in its stock form. You may not get the whole "experience" of having one built, but you definitely get the final product and the attention it gets.

Z3guy 09-14-2015 07:41 AM

$100K USD for a RWB is not a bad deal considering a stock 993 with 120K kms would probably fetch $60K to $$70K USD anyways.........

westopher 09-14-2015 08:18 AM

I could be wrong as I stopped looking very hard, but a 95 c2 with 80k miles is closer to the 40-50k mark. It seems as though even though the really special cars continue to climb, the run of the mill aircooleds have stopped selling at their outrageous prices.

Z3guy 09-14-2015 08:30 AM

^ the market continues to climb.....993 cabs with 120K kms are going for mid 50s now! haha

westopher 09-14-2015 08:31 AM

Only in the United States of Canada because of our Monopoly money!

tofu1413 09-14-2015 08:45 AM

im still disgusted that a 964 C2 would fetch over 40k........

when they were worthless a few years ago.

Z3guy 09-14-2015 08:47 AM

^ I was looking at importing the wide body 996 C4S from the California, a $40K USD car after all said and done was approx. $65K Cdn......made no sense anymore....after looking at the over inflated pricing on all air-cooled 911s, I started to look at 996 Turbo and C4s pricing...... from a bang for your buck pure driving enjoyment standpoint, I think I am going to go the 996 route instead, collectors might think the 996 is shit, but for what you get, they work for me.

westopher 09-14-2015 08:50 AM

Most collectors don't drive their cars so they don't know shit!

jing 09-14-2015 09:01 AM

How much cheaper are Japanese import P-cars in comparison to their NA counterparts?
