That's what I thought it would be, I prefer Vera's or Moderne burger anyways but that's about $15 for a combo. I really want to try the DB Burger at DB Bistro Moderne.

I like Vera's a lot more than Moderne. The Moderne burger tastes great but is quite small in comparison, and also costs a lot more. Plus Vera's has a larger variety of sides like yam fries and onion rings, instead of just regular potato fries.

They sell the burger on its own. On sale right now for less than $1/patty! ;)

Honestly, Costco has to be up there in fast food type style food.

Everything that you listed is actually pretty good. There is no "bad choice" there.

I love the fries. They are pretty amazing.

+1

the hot dogs are super awesome and a good cheap deal. I heard the poutine and montreal style smoked meat sandwich are good too. Ice cream is ice cream, can't go wrong. Also, one poutine=full day of calories and one hot dog=insane amoutns of fat...so yeah, up there with all the fast food place criteria!

sweetiee 05-28-2009 11:28 AM

When did they ever have that?

Z3guy 05-28-2009 12:17 PM

They used to have it 2 summers ago...it was like 8 bucks....and fucking good....I guess they got rid of it.....

On a seperate note has anyone tried the Crab Chowder they used to sell?...can't remember the brand, but it was damn good!

Presto 05-28-2009 06:47 PM

What I like about the burger is the ability to customize the condiments, and how much you want to use. I like to load it up with a lot of onions and some ketchup. Man... i'm gonna go and get one now.

mako 05-28-2009 09:46 PM

A bit OT but I bought an "Angus" Burger with Cheddar at MCD the other day and I was totally disappointed with the food and shocked at the price.

$8.75 for a Angus Burger w/ Cheddar meal...Holy fuck! $9 for a damn meal at MCD...talk about expensive and the burger tasted bland and horrible as well... 2/10 :(

Pretty effed up since you can get something at Earls or Cactus for that price. Well, not exactly that price but can be considered in the same range.

dark0821 06-08-2009 11:01 AM

but i mean.. you are eating out.. so you know.. its the way it is..

Harvey's burgers taste like fucking hot dogs..

the meat tastes exactly like your eating a plain old little schnieders weiner, it's fucking gross, it probably tastes like that cause they are so processed to get the "angus" apeal to them

mako 06-08-2009 05:21 PM

i'd rather eat hot dogs than the so-called angus crap they have at McDonalds or Costco

Hondaracer 06-09-2009 03:11 PM

trust me, if anything Harveys burgers are probably more processed then the costco ones, they way they taste just isnt right..

johny 06-09-2009 04:10 PM

the Hawaii pizza was really good last time I had it.

CRS 06-10-2009 09:48 AM

Alright, so I decided to go yesterday and take some pictures while I was at it.

It was pretty good. The only thing I could compare it with is Bon's Burger but then again, that is a different story.
