Aged cheese often has that effect.

It is amazing how little people know about cheese when all they have seen and tasted are like crap cheddar, maybe havarti, swiss emanthall and nothing else.
Only the mass produced creamy textures and not the hard and sharp tastes.

LOL.. H_n_y.... It's pretty hard to fuck up on hotdogs.. Unless they overcook it, but that is about as bad as it can get (excluding other factors).
